  1. I have the same issues with the tl I just got. First bike I've had with adjustable suspension except for rear preload. I honestly have no idea when it comes to setting up suspenders. I'm more of a 'fix and tune engines' kind of guy.
  2. Good way to cut half an hour of bullshit off your day.
  3. Would love to get on this and stretch out the tl, but I'm having a party at my place that day and need to prepare for it. You guys have fun.
  4. Bath night......gotta love the oh shit moment at 33 sec.
  5. Ordered them off competition accessories, $130 shipped and they fit great.
  6. It's only illegal if you get caught. Seriously tho, didn't someone wonder why they weren't headed in a general northeast direction? Must have been paying attention to the sound of the glorified tractor engine they paid too much for.
  7. That's where he stashes his crack.
  8. Ok, here's the real deal no-shitter on the bike after getting it home and really getting into it. Nothing here is meant to reflect badly upon biker boy what so ever. The bike does not have stock clip-ons, it has heli bars, which is a plus. The ” choke” lever does not operate at all, this was a surprise. Not sure if its because of the heli bars or if there is some deeper issue. The headlight is pretty much aimed at the ground. Can't see more than 15 or 20 ft at night without using high beams. The headlight assy also feels loose in the fairing. after spending hours with a sack of old socks and a bottle of bike BRITE, the rims are not only clean but flawless. They look awesome. The back wheel is not adjusted properly for straightness or chain tension. The chain is pretty shot. Was bone dry and a bit rusty and shows a ton of side to side wear (probably from the back wheel being crooked) Couldn't find any fluid leaks, all fluids are topped up and the right color. front end was caked in dead bugs.... I wash my bikes at least once a week, just saying. Windshield is cracked, should have noticed, but was not disclosed to me. Came with swingarm spools! All in all its a good bike, there are various other minor issues you would expect with a 15 yr old bike. The frame is clean and after a wash and wax she looks good. If a balls-out efi liter-class sport bike wasn't exactly what I was looking for I wouldn't have paid and traded what I did for it, but I'm happy with it for sure, and expect to put money into any used bike I buy.
  9. I have am m44 carbine. Bought it like ten years ago for $70.
  10. Oh I know man, I checked out your chicken strips, you've been putting her low to the pavement for.sure.
  11. Of duh, 1943 model, its the rifle, not the carbine.
  12. Its not just jets. Needle position and float height have a lot to do with running characteristics 3/4 throttle and below. CV carbs are a fickle mistress, you usually can't just pop in a main jet and be done with it. Usually when there are people with cumulative decades of experience in carb tuning telling you something, you should take their advice. The guy who designed that air box probably has a lot more degrees on his wall than you.
  13. Yeah, I need someone with experience to help me set this suspension up. Feels easy too stiff and like I'm putting too much control input to get it to turn.
  14. Jesus this thing is fast.....
  15. Went ahead and traded for what we had agreed on earlier. This bike is a freakin monster. I think it actually flattened out my eyeballs.
  16. Well my fizzer is in excellent condition, has the airtech R1 body kit, custom fab headlights with 10000k HID bulbs, brand new paint, tires, chain, sprokets, plugs, yosh slip on, blue anodized pegs, blue flame grips, blue LED's all over under the fairings (for night visibility) 17,xxx miles and as of tonight new float bowl gaskets. She runs like a champ, gets over 100 no problem but I find myself shifting constantly around town and even though I LOVE this bike, I'm ready for something with more power. Still kind of second guessing myself on this deal, I think my bike is worth more than biker boy its giving me for it on trade, but a lot of that is sentimental. Here's a pic of the blue beast.
  17. Average bike specific jet kit runs $100+. Then comes the tuning, all kinds of things factor in, intake, exhaust, elevation etc....plan on an afternoon of plug chops and taking the carbs apart and putting back together. You could always get lucky and nail it first try, I hear that happens a lot.
  18. Some dude in Sweden or someplace got in trouble for doing the same thing only with a guitar.
  19. Omg....chicken little.....I have my own shit to deal with, don't really care too much about this story, breeding from my heart won't reverse what happened.
  20. Omg I hate that ancient aliens guy, what a douche fag.
  21. Anyone who knows this woman probably already knows who the kid is....
