Struggling with how an exhaust component can have any bearing on oil performance.

I do 3k on my gsxs1000f and did filter the first 2 times, but it is a hateful bitch to do the filter on that bike so depending on what the oil looks like coming out this time I may go every other change on the filter. This is with rotella t6. First change at 600, 2nd at 3600 and it was a bit dark for my liking, but I beat on that bike pretty hard so kinda expected that, plus things still wearing in.

Ftfy. Looking at maybe camping one night, its fucking expensive and I have lots of bills.

Who all is going? I'm thinking about it but want to have bubbies there to do hoodrat shit with.

Epidurals for pain and PT to strengthen my back and prevent further injury. Surgery is a last resort, we are trying to sell our house and buy a new one and I cant afford to be on temporary disability for 6 weeks at 80% of 40 hours when I work 50+ to stay comfortable. Being on the bike is definitely less pain than driving my impreza. Seating position is 100% the reason.

Found out my back strain was much more serious. 2 bulging discs and one ruptured. Pain is starting to subside now but was pretty intense through all of June and most of July. Still managed to put over a thousand miles in tho. Heading out in a few.

You are correct, it appears the lever goes directly onto the shift shaft. @Fiend I may have discovered your problem, or at least this guy had the same problem and it turned out to be a loose screw holding the shift star on. Easy to diagnose. Easy to fix.

Er6n is just a naked ninja 650. Only difference is fairings.

Had a Yamaha that would do this. Turns out one of the bolts holding the rearsets on had backed out. Not enough to feel it in the peg, but enough that the shift linkage no longer operated correctly.

This. Split washers are useless, yet engineers keep using them because reasons. AvE did some experiments on his channel and showed that split lock washers dont augment the breaking torque of a bolt at all. It's just another item on the BOM.
