  1. Seems like a lot of feed but 27 volts for that gauge is pretty hot, so as long as you keep it moving and get used to laying bead that fast I guess it's a decent combo. I'd drop the feed and the heat some personally, but I like to make pretty welds, and if you have to grind to make your welds pretty, you're not a welder, you're a grinder.
  2. Sorry, that was the only way to get rid of the stupid fucking auto save and quote clusterfuck. Pauly (isacs Papa) is a toolbag. Ignore his childish nonsense.
  3. The quote thing and the auto save feature are fucking killing me. Probably very practical and useful for desktop users. Just a huge herpes sore for me.
  4. People using the word 'tats'.
  5. Lots of tattoo artists, musicians etc have face tattoos. They aren't just for criminals. All the old people start sentences with shit like 'all the kids'.
  6. Most of the time when I click to add a reply it will automatically populate the field with the last reply I posted on that particular thread. It also plays little hijinks and shenanigans with quoting people. Last mobile version was better.
  7. I have the fork oil level tool, you could bring some seal drivers, save me the trouble of making my own. And you're gonna turn some wrenches, boy.
  8. Anyone have a problem with April 23rd? Too soon to know what the weather is gonna be but it's gonna be that or early may.
  9. Ok, so how's this for a tech clinic? Racetech gold valve and sonic spring install. Bought the parts last year and never put them in. I can wait till we have a good crowd and then everyone can learn how to rebuild a fork with awesome components.
  10. Easier to check run-out on the bike with a dial indicator...if you have one.
  11. This. You should be getting a lot more free spin. Wheel not centered properly or maybe a warped rotor.
  12. I've been studying the dark arts lately and have become somewhat proficient at electronics. I may look into a way to do this.
  13. +1 for delkevic. I put their full system on my old xj600. Quality was very good, nice looking stainless pipes. Sounded great and had removable baffles. Even with them out it wasn't crazy loud, just a nice deep tone. Only thing with delkevic is they don't make a system for a lot of bikes.
  14. I've put an exhaust on pretty much every bike I've owned that didn't already have one with the exception of my shadow. It had loud pipes and I swapped them off for stock mufflers because they were just too loud. I totally get wanting to ditch the stock mufflers, new bikes sound like shit with em, just way too quiet. A full system isn't gonna sound any better than a slip on tho, just cost more and breathe a little better.
  15. Fuel controller isn't worth shit without a good dyno tune, and that's another $250 or so. Unless your bike can't keep up with your riding ability I would spend that money on a few track days.
  16. I'm pretty sure that won't keep the ECU from shutting off the gas while in motion at idle throttle. That's why it drags so hard, well that and it's a 700cc twin.
  17. Looking at mid to late April. Def a Saturday. Waiting for people to tell me when they can't make it so I can figure out when everyone can.
  18. Yeah the fz07 and 09 have horrible mapping. The gas off during idle while moving is a real bitch to get past. There's a way to reflash the ECU to give it idle gas while moving but it is expensive. Barring that I'd work on your fine motor skills as far as control inputs. Practice practice practice.
  19. Is that an fz09? They are notorious for having very heavy engine braking due to gas being completely shut off during idle while in motion.
  20. Awesome. I used to go to holeshot KTM in akron but they suck now so I was using eBay. This looks much better, good find.
  21. Good start. Some tips: keep the stock air box and if possible, the exhaust. These bikes are notoriously difficult to tune once you change intake and exhaust characteristics. If you want a louder tone, look into defeating some of the baffles in the stock pipes or try and find an aftermarket pipe that breathes the same as stock. Different bars will really change the look. Also mirrors, blinkers etc. As well as chopping the rear fender.
  22. That looks like some good crystal.
  23. I'm not even mad, I'm really just impressed.
