  1. This looks like a rip off of the old Honda that had a cetrifigual oil separator and also had a cartridge filter. Looks like they blocked it off.
  2. Swap a boosted Chevy truck motor into a fox body mustang sloppy mechanics style and piss off the Ford fanboys.
  3. Still, $48k? Unless they had 48 employees working on this and they made what, $80 an hour....it doesn't add up. This is price gouging.
  4. At the most basic level: xx = female. Xy = male. No amount of surgery will change that. Not that I don't support people modding their fuck-bits in whatever way makes them happy and identifying themselves however they want, but in a thousand years of their bones get dug up and tested, the +2 chromosome is gonna rat them out.
  5. He's back with a big bag of rice. https://www.carthrottle.com/post/w6xobdx/
  6. Got some upgrades done. Replaced the stock dual mufflers with a pair of thrush turbo mufflers with some nice rolled-edge stainless tips. The result was exactly what I was going for: deep growly tone down low, not super loud up top and it doesn't sound like a rice cannon. Also put sound deadening in the front doors along with some infinity reference series component speakers. Swapped the factory flat sail panels with the wrx tweeter pods and modded them to accept the infinities. Ordered a kenwood excelon 6.2 inch touch screen head unit with built in GPS, bluetooth, backup cam etc and a set of co-ax infinity reference series door speakers for the rears with enough sound deadener left over to do those doors. For lows I have a single kicker comp 2 600 watt 12" sub in a sealed enclosure with a power acoustik gothic series 600 watt amp bridged at 2 ohms. If the head unit's 22 watts rms doesn't drive the door speakers to my satisfaction I'll run an alpine 4 channel amp off the pre-outs and run bigger wire from the amp to the doors... All in all it should be a decent system. Not audiophile quality but for the money it will perform well. Should have it together and running in about a week.
  7. I once saw a video of a good rider on a Yamaha xj600 seca 2 (i had one, they're not fast) vs an average rider on a 750 ninja on a track. The yam made like 60 hp, the ninja close to 90. First lap the ninja Was ahead but the yam gained on him in the turns. By the third lap the slower and heavier xj had a considerable lead.
  8. If you come to an intersection and turn onto a road and there is no speed limit sign you're supposed to assume that the limit is the same as the street you turned off of. At least that's what they taught me in drivers ed.
  9. Just installed the harbor freight 4 cam dvr in my house a few weeks ago. The picture quality leaves me wanting better cameras. Night vision works pretty good. Not bad for the money but there are better.
  10. I was initiated into this at a young age. My mother had the soundtrack and played it for my sister and I when we were 13 and 14 or so. We did the time warp in the living room. Later, she took us to the highland theater on a Saturday night where we summarily had our foreheads marked with a V for virgin. During the next couple hours we experienced rocky as it was intended....and my mother got hit square in the mouth with a wet roll of toilet paper.
  11. The lesson here is to be doing triple digits well before the person you're passing even knows you're there, that way they can't even react until after you're already ahead of them.
  12. Lol.... Not sure you would want to drink mineral oil in that situation. It has zero nutritional value. It gives you diarrhea and it prevents your intestines from absorbing certain vitamins....but hey, if that's how you get down, go on with your bad self.
  13. Like college kids need convinced that pot should be legal.....
  14. The pass was legal. In Texas if a car is impeding traffic you can pass on a double yellow provided you don't exceed the speed limit. Old man was doing 45. Bike was doing 63 at impact. Speed limit was 65. This is based on the latest info I can find on the internet.
  15. This does not sound right. Right of way trumps speed. I was speeding and a church van pulled out of a gas station across 5 lanes of traffic and I had no choice but to hit him. Cops determined my speed to be 45 in a 35 by the skid marks and damage to the vehicles. Other driver was cited and his insurance paid out.
  16. Ohio has a provision that allows you to pass on a double yellow if the driver is doing half the speed limit or less (i think). I wonder if Texas has a similar provision and if it applies here...
  17. 4 weeks in. It takes a special kind of ugly to shave your head because you're going bald. It takes a special kind of balls to rock the shaved head with a full beard. It takes a special kind of retard to say something about either.
  18. Yep. Dot 5 was developed for military and race applications for heat resistance. Even at the best circumstances it has more compressability compared to dot 4. In layman's terms: more dot does not mean more brake. Use the fluid your system was engineered for.
