When my dad sold his 836 cb he refused to sell it to my older brother or me....so I built my own but bored it to 849 cc....it's not my fastest bike but it is a kick in the teeth.

My uncle had a z1 900. My dad's cb750 with 836 kit and a cam would smoke it. I'm all about the vintage aluminum tho, I'm working my mechanic skills with a guy right now that buys old bikes and flips them.If a kaw liter bike crosses our path I'll let you know. Most of his bikes go for less than $1500.

There's an old xs1100 on craigslist akron canton right now, already half caffeinated. If you pull off the fairing and put on a big round headlight the bandit looks pretty retro except for the tail.

Sabre is v4. If you want to build an air cooled sleeper buy a 1200 bandit. can be made silly fast with jets, filters, a pipe and a set of old gsxr or katana cams.

Kz1k or 1100 is a solid muscle bike. Suzuki gsx1100e is faster. Vmax is also fast as fuck. A v65 sabre would be bad ass as they were only made a few years.

Gotta take my mom out Saturday and start trenching my yard for a french drain. And Ben hasn't even said whether or not he wants my rifle.

Get the front end up off the ground and see if the wheel spins with the bars turned in either direction. it's harder to push a bike with the bars at full lock than when they're centered. spinning it will tell you whether or not you actually have something dragging.
