Oh yea there is a whole thread on it..lol
Opps sorry Tim, I'm not on the forum much these days.....looks epic dude.

Have a feeling we will be going back out sooner than later, we have much more to explore and visit.....we have a damn good start though.
-
You all have a game plan yet Tim, or mostly gonna wing it?

Thought I would share an amazing ride report with pics which don't do these states or the adventure justice, so well written up with the humor and detail I always look forward to from the creator "Craig (Swingset) Gibson". This trip was truly an experience, and will be hard to top IMHO. We all want to go back of course, but next time with more appropriate "true" dual sport machines.

Slipping clutches due to oil is "almost" unheard of.

That sucks, good thing I "mostly" run the T5.

My dream bike, and set up just how I would want it. You need to keep it, you have already lost your ass due to all of the upgrades.

Never realized some malevolent and sadistic omnipotent being debates whether or not to keep us safe while out riding? Sorry if I offend....whatever a person needs to get them through each day/week/month and years.

Pony service took "great care" of my stator recall and was right on it, bike came back to me looking as if nothing was even done......and that is a good thing.

I will NEVER buy new, so will never need to know these things.
I obviously broke your bike in right for you, and I just rode it like I normally would.

I just ride like I normally would, just do an early oil and filter change is all.......never had an issue with "normal".

Will be there........damn good event and amazing roads to ride.

I've been working from home for 16 years, so I guess that is my ultimate preference. For the right job that makes you happy, most any commute would be worthwhile within reason. Of course things to think about like gas money spent, wear and tear on your vehicle, and ultimately "your sanity" for making such a long commute in all kinds of weather conditions.

I'm an Amazon guy, although so far any purchases I have had on Ebay were legit and had no issues.

Wife and I just spent two nights at the Inn at Honey Run right outside Millersburg. Honeycomb suite. Fabulous restaurant. Neat little place. Very "relaxing."
I second this..........

I'm doing an Ozarks trip too, but at the end of June. I have a friend who lives in Hot Springs Arkansas and that will be my homebase for most the trip, I will also be doing some camping as well "have no idea where I will end up". LOL

I can also speak highly about the HT Overpants if you need them to be waterproof.
Great pants but don't flow air well at all, really no vents on them anywhere.

Pants are sold.....close it up.

WTF is up with all the incest porn all of a sudden?
Gump told me there's lots of it.
Since when is incest having sex or even marrying somebody that is "not related to you by blood"?

Guilty as charged.

For any of my "shorter" riding bubs out there, I have a "LIKE NEW" pair of Firstgear HT overpants "shell", I bought these early last year. They have been worn like maybe twice, and the shell version is without the bulky liner. These pants are legendary with riders, and are known to be very waterproof or pretty darn close. I am asking $120 shipped within the US, they are 36 waist with short inseam. Just a tad bit short for me while seated on the bike, and I have approx a 31" inseam. Great pair of moto pants, give me a shout out with any questions.....THANKS!!!!

Thanks for the clarification, although I am pretty much against pushing "any religion" or doing missionary type work, people who need help need "real help" and not some God loves you and has a plan for you kind of BS. As for police, I am all for them wearing body cameras, whatever it takes to both convict them if overstepping their bounds or to exonerate them when it most certainly warrants it. The vid you posted was the one I watched, I reckon you need to do whatever makes you happy and to try and make a difference.
