  1. Maybe down south of the state... in the northeast we get permafrost on the roads between late December and early February...

Hell, we got some -38 Temps last year.

Yeah no doubt it is a different world up by the great Lake or the closer you are to it, Central Ohio and South can be rather pleasant sometimes when it is pure ass up North.

  2. My bikes are never put away for the Winter, ready to ride at any break in the weather. Keep tank full with a bit of Stabil and plugged into the tender, other than that I am ready to ride when temps above freezing and the roads are dry. :)

  3. The bike was about teh only thing interesting in the first episode.  I'm hoping the set-up was worth it.

What.....you being serious? That was one of the best and most intense episodes ever, can't imagine what it takes for you to be impressed with a TWD episode.

  4. We skipped the gas chamber in basic, as it was too cold that day.

I DID have an experience in high school, though.

So, in the cafeteria, right when the bell rang to end the lunch period, a huge mass of hundreds of people all get up to move towards the doors.  I could see everyone in front of me coughing as they reached a certain spot.  I was pretty much stuck in the herd, so I couldn't stop or evade that spot, plus I didn't really realize what was going on.  Sure enough, soon as I reached that spot, I started coughing involuntarily, too, throat tightened up like I was being choked, eyes started watering, etc.

It's the easiest, pussiest experience ever with mace, and it was enough for me to know I don't wanna do anything harder :)

What branch was that? My son is U.S. Army infantryman and has been in the chamber once in basic and another time at Fort Polk, seems strange the chamber would be skipped due to being too cold or too hot.

  5. That pretty hard to believe. My 1996 Outback got 25 in the city and 30 on the highway. Our 2005 Outback gets 24, towing a trailer, two motorcycles and all our gear at 65mph. It will get low-thirties without the trailer.

My 11 Impreza gets about the exact same kind of mileage.

  6. I have enjoyed every Harley I have ridden, I think they are pretty fine bikes to be honest. And to those that say they are low tech.......that is simply not true. They are arguably the best at what they make and who they make it for, although Victory and Indian are also making some fine machines in comparison. I could not own one as my only bike, but I could for sure add a Road king or a Street glide to the garage. I hate them obnoxiously loud, but other than that......its all good.

  7. Some fucktard left a God Damn 4x4 piece of wood on rt 77 and I hit it the other day, bending my rim. Got a new one coming from a salvage hard in PA. I'll even plasti dip it to match.

Good luck with the sell, that is a nice looking car and will serve somebody very well.

  8. My current bike is new, so it will just be plugged into the tender and ready to go at a moments notice anytime the weather breaks. I have a waterproof outlet to wire up and may do heated grips at the same time, other than that I think I am good for now. :)
