  1. I have yet to find a gun related site with the ability to discuss gun rights with any amount of intelligent thought. There is a lot of good information to be gleaned from them but for discussion they suck. To be fair their missions don't usually include the free flow of thought, it is about furthering their agenda. I'm good with that and don't expect them to be my source for a discussion with discourse.

I am not going to go back and read your thread unless we make this one interesting. Why don’t you post up your thoughts that didn’t go your way over there? Don’t be surprised if things don’t go your way if you are wrong and expect to be told so if you are. This site is moderated too much but not anywhere close to as much as the gun sites are.

There is nothing wrong with being liberal has me thinking that you shouldn’t expect to like most of my replies.

Nah I am sure I will/would be more than fine with them, because I am not a liberal.;) I just try real hard to understand where people are coming from, and try to be respectful and understanding as much as possible. Go to page 8 and see where I give my viewpoint, I was already pissed from reading all of that thread up to that point. I have been a member of the site since last December, and if you browse around the site a bit, it is obvious that disagreeing with the collective on almost anything makes you exiled.

  2. Too bad that a forum dedicated to gun enthusiasts and helping to fix/solve gun carry rights and ownership here in OHIO.......has a bunch of one track minded robot sheeple. Heaven forbid anyone "like me" who gives their opinion and viewpoint on a thread started about carry rights for "everyone". I wasnt expecting flat out rudeness and site post whores to pretty much call me a leftwing liberal. I am far from that "not that there is anything wrong with being a liberal minded person", but basically a gang of site regulars who like to spew their beliefs and close minded rights, and to hell with ya if you don't see things their way. I have been in this state my whole life, and will probably be a Buckeye boy for life. I have been shooting and hunting since I was probably 8 years old "almost 40 now":D and was expecting better from my own state brethern. Allot of good has come from that site and its members, but piss on the ones that are close minded fools!!

  3. I am a big fan of Toshiba, currently have a 65 inch DLP rear projection that has been flawless going now on 4 years. I have yet to see any plasma or LCD that has a picture any better. I agree on the Vizio comment, and they are the only current made TV in the USA these days.

  4. I like my plastic guns thanks they work just fine for me for carry. Do I want a nice 1911 someday HELL yeah would i carry one HELL no. they are very nice looking well balanced guns and are accurate but I would not like to try to conceal one in full size.

    Agree..........

  5. Wilson combat probably makes some of the best 1911's out there, but I agree on Springfield Armory as a top choice for sure. Believe it or not.......one of the highest rated 1911's out there is the Taurus PT1911, I am seriously considering buying one. Ruger has a sweet 1911 now that is getting rave reviews, also another to consider. Yes I believe Kimber's to be a bit overrated.

  6. I am the "co-host" it is a great time......just sayin!!!!!!

Back by popular demand...and due to the great turn out we had the last 2 years...I'm proud to announce...it's on!!!

2011 3rd Annual "Buckeye Bash" Labor Day Weekend Rally!!!!!!!!!!!! thumbup.gifhurray.gifyesnod.gif

September 2nd, 3rd, and 4th...Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

    11030 LAKE ROAD

    MILLERSPORT, OH 43046

This a "non bike specific" Rally. All that really matters is good friends are getting back together to enjoy a common interest...RIDING......TELLING LIES......HAVING FUN!!! Now I am very adamant about no pirates or squids attending, so if you meet that criteria you probably wont like this much.

This is going to be run almost the same as last year...arrive Friday afternoon, rides will take place on Saturday "maybe Sunday too", cook out Saturday night, depart whenever you feel like it on Sunday.

Food: Something easy Friday night...probably make Pizzas...whatever...

Breakfast will be provided Saturday and Sunday.

Lunch on Saturday will depend on who you're riding with...basically you're on your own...or with a group.

Cook out and Bon Fire Saturday night.

Basic Beverages will be provided....water, pop, etc...

    Alcohol is up to you!!!

    Accommodations:

There is plenty of Camping area and on site bathrooms and shower facilities. There are also a few local Hotels(book early due to the local Sweetcorn Festival!!).

Everyone has been more than gracious chipping in money for the food and beverages served during the event...so instead of charging people a fee...we'd like to keep it like last year...DONATE to the hosts if you're eating/drinking!!!

We have had great turnouts the last 2 years...so let's keep it going!!! Feel free to send me a PM with any specific questions or concerns.

    Brian

  7. I'm on the WRX or STI fence. I may need you ladies assistance.

    I'm done with Honda.

And yes I'll be attending your Millersport Black Panther Party.

Awesome, we have a great time!!!! I have an Impreza Outback Sport, and I just luv the hell outta it. I may go the turbo route for my next Subie, and I have a feeling that I too will always own one.
