  1. Are you willing to travel south towards like for example "Columbus" if a good deal or trade could be made? There are shit tons of Subarus around here and dealers, I would imagine you could find what you are looking for.
  2. I have a 2011 Impreza Outback Sport and just love the damn thing, it is a 5 speed and I rarely drop below 25 mpg and get as high as 31 on the slab. I am at around 72K and all I have done is just the recommended services, the car has just been bulletproof so far. With a proper set of tires these cars are like snow moblies, the only thing that even comes close to their limits is ground clearance, and even then most times it still makes no difference. I hear the new engine with CVT is just as fast if not faster than the old engine and tranny, it just lays it down differently and is deceiving how fast you are accelerating. I really like the Outbacks, and would likely go that route next time.
  3. Bike is good as sold..........lock it up!
  4. Whatever Hoblick says to go with.
  5. Well said......and I have a feeling were Police to all go on strike and not go to work for a good while, things would go to hell very quickly. Maybe something like that is what it would take for some to realize that most of law enforcement are good folks? Yeah the blue line exists......but who/what is worse, that or how out of control and corrupt our politicians are in this country?
  6. You are allowing a few bad apples to ruin the bunch, yet that is all many focus on anymore. Were the majority of law enforcement asshats and corrupt, things would likely be even worse than they already are. Too many people are flat out pieces of shit, and even when police encounter one suspected of being a piece of shit, they are used to dealing with those who are pieces of shit. Yeah they get calloused and hate people, my Wife can relate after working ER for 15 years.
  7. So glad that my son no longer wants to be a cop when he gets out of the Army......such a relief.
  8. List on ADVrider if you have not already, this is not the adventure type crowd here. That is one bad ass purpose built machine, it needs a good home ASAP.

    Bike Night

Yes I forgot about the squids, they are also well attended but still outnumbered "easily" by the pirates.

    Bike Night

Pirate fest was in full swing, I was next door at Bar Louies watching all of the loud ass Harley's flying up and down Polaris.
  12. And you do all of that on an archaic bike......impressive.
  13. Few pics of the bike "finally", please feel free to ask me any questions. New updated price of $3600 or best offer............Thanks!
  14. Then in that case, that route will be about what you are looking for right now. Might also take route 16 East to 586 N to 541 E then take 60 N to 62 and then take it back down to New Albany. 514/520/715/83 are all just fabulous in that area as well.
  15. Sorry I had edited and added to my post before you quoted me, and depending on her riding experience and how well she can ride, I would only stick to back roads "county roads" until she is really comfortable. Has she done a riding course or anything similar? I don't want to sound like an asshole, but if she is not a pretty experienced or comfortable rider......stay off the super twisty roads until she gets some miles under her belt.
  16. Atlas perhaps? Seriously, you are gonna have to venture at least 30 minutes minimum to get to some fun twisty roads from Columbus. Head East on 33, and take your pick of where you want to explore, the entire Hocking Hills area is a hoot. You are gonna be gone a helluva lot longer than 2 to 3 hours for any of the fun roads in Ohio......just sayin. You need to get out and explore, you are missing out on some kick ass riding in this state. Why not hook up with the folks that do the "Epic rides" that is your best opportunity to meet folks here and to ride some sweet roads?
  17. Any time you want to try and follow me on the old or the new tractor, just say the word. And I promise to not take any gravel roads too. ????
  18. Can't edit my damn original post to add a pic, locked me out in like a few minutes......that's bullshit Ben!!! And I am unable to download any pics, so until I can do that feel free to shoot me a PM if you have interest.
  19. Well it is time to list my trusty 1000, has been such a great bike and I have really enjoyed it. The Wifey says I can't have 2 Stroms in the garage, and to be honest I have only ridden my new 650 since I bought it. So I will list below some of the farkles that I have, but I have taken off a few items and already sold them. The bike mechanically is fantastic, I am the 4th owner but know the last 2 owners very well. Cosmetically you can tell it is 9 years old and is not perfect, as I have ridden it instead of washed and waxed it. Has some scratches and a melt spot on the dash from a stupid resistor on the grips getting too hot. I am upfront and honest and have nothing to hide, and I will answer any questions or concerns truthfully. I have never dropped this bike, but I know it has been dropped "once" by one of the previous owners. I always average in the 40's MPG wise, and it runs so smooth with the new WERKS clutch basket. I am asking $3800 or best offer, and it currently has 24,447 miles. Thanks for any interest, and I would love to find HODOR a good home. Leather Corbin seat WERKS clutch basket and coolant flush 21,750 Happy Trails panniers and rack K&N air filter "new" Secondaries are out but have them and screws in a bag Shad 33 liter top case OEM tank bra Tusk heated grips "not hooked up" On board volt meter "not hooked up" Waterproof cigarette outlet "hooked up" Tusk ATV sport bend aluminum handlebar Givi crash bars Front Battlewing tire 18,420 miles Rear Tourance EXP 21,825 EBC brake pads up front 18,455 Galfer rear pads and fluid flush 20,450 Clutch slave shaft seal, drive shaft seal/oring, clutch fluid 20,450 NGK CR8EIX spark plugs, 19,062 EK chain 16,120 10 watt LED fog lights with harness/relay/switch "not installed" I believe that is all, there is no owners manual and I have a spare key made. Thanks for any interest, like I said the bike is not too bad for an almost 10 year old bike, and with less than 25K it has MANY miles left. BB
  20. I was entertained, and agree that Rubio Huckabee and Carson were the run away favorites.
  21. Oh how I love to ride in West Virginia.
  22. Yup you beat me to it, and I agree that camera needs to be a tad bit higher.
  23. Hope you got out and rode some nice twisties, I ended up with 270 miles for the day and much fun was had.
  24. HUH.....far away? Hell I live in Westerville and can get to his place in Marysville in like 40 minutes, you would likely be 30 or less.
