  1. ive also seen 600+whp done safely and reliably on a stock bottom end multiple times. its all in the tune.
  2. i do have a spare cam, and a spare set of ported heads...might be the winter project :gabe:
  3. sounds nasty..i keep talking myself out of modding mine
  4. id take 17.5 for mine..its a coupe though. and i wont be selling it for another few wks
  5. club na-t.com there are a few good kits out there, and as said earlier all that is needed internally is to swap to a thicker HG and run ARP studs. i was planning the same thing for my SC but found another project and sold it a few days ago. there are many na-t's out there putting down over 450whp reliably
  6. This. edit - ok after actually reading the thread, looks like you really want to keep this car. I would buy an LQ9 or LQ4 shortblock, throw a cheap set of 241 or 243 heads on it, mild cam, and ls6 intake manifold. you can easily buy the motor and swap parts for $3k, and youll have 400+ rwhp, and 25mpg highway reliably. an LT1 won't do that. ive had 4 of them, and will never buy another one.
  7. if the jeep is still available shoot me a pm. might be interested in picking it up this weekend
  8. you should run at least 18s on a car that big
  9. gtp's are the shit!! good luck with sale, i know itll be gone quickly
  10. or just stop being cheap and pay the extra 20cents/gallon. you can always limit the boost and run it on 89, or take the supercharger belt off and run 87. gtp's get better gas mileage than the n/a versions, ive owned both. the n/a versions also have alot more problems what what ive seen/experienced. and 1300 for a grand prix w/ a motor knock is a ripoff. ive had 4 gtp's that ran great with no problems and i paid under $1800 for each one. i bought my first one when i was 17, and 7years later i still love those cars.
  11. lol trust me if i had the extra room i'd definitely keep it. i tried to buy one of these last year and couldnt even find a 5spd one with under 200k miles
  12. 1994 Lexus SC300 only 112k original miles tan leather interior pwr seats, locks, sunroof heated seats 2JZ-GE 6cyl motor 5spd trans (rare) HID Headlights no rust Completely stock other than HID headlights. have maintenance records as well. runs and drives good but will need a clutch eventually. These cars are almost impossible to find with under 200k miles, especially 5spd! asking $4500 cash, can't do any trades..unless its for a foxbody 5pointslo...friend of mine is looking for one. was planning on doing an na-t mp70mm setup on it, but my automotive ADD has taken over again and i am out of space at my house...i actually had to park this car at a friend's house up the street :lolguy: let me know if interested http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/dre2013/IMAG0856.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/dre2013/IMAG0855.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/dre2013/IMAG0883.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/dre2013/IMAG0884.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/dre2013/IMAG0885.jpg
  13. LT1's arent too bad if you got a decent deal on it. that car should run high 12s
  14. v6 camaros/firebirds/mustangs should be illegal.
  15. saw it in person on sat nite, sounds nasty...oh, and i was in the mustang u ran on the highway as well lol
  16. the best choice for a 16yr old IMO is a pontiac grand prix GTP. front wheel drive, great in snow, 20mpg city, 30mpg highway. enough power to be enjoyable to drive, but it is still front wheel drive and won't kill you in the rain. they can be found all day long for $2k. ive had 5 of them and will probably buy another one this winter
  17. saw the cobra, nice ride! you have the only comp orange cobra ive ever seen in person other than mine
  18. i carry an xd .40 subcompact for concealed carry. great gun for sure. never had any problems with it
