a set of z06 243 castings cost around $340 used and will gain 15-25rwhp. has been proven many times. i dont know where this "$2k heads=20hp" came from lol.

Havent decided which way i want to go with this car (turbo/blower/nitrous). wont start at all just turns over, he said itll hiccup a little sometimes (kinda like it wants to start). no smoke, and no fluid leaks...and you're right i forgot, its the d16 i believe like i said i know nothing at all about hondas lol

whoops...no it wasnt running before belt was replaced...it was running, but had been sitting for about 3-4 months(needed brakelines,battery, and battery leads). i saw the car run the day he parked it. Old belt did not break but it had a little play in it

having probs with my 97 civic..1.5L non-vtec..just had a timing belt and tensioner put on it along with new plugs. Car turns over, but wont start. my buddy thats working on it says it sounds like it is turning over faster than normal. he said he can smell fuel after cranking, and it also has spark. any ideas? i dont know anything at ALL about hondas. thanks guys

went down after 3 months of owning my bike. wasnt my fault though. don't ride over your ability, and watch out for cagers!! ill never ride without a helmet ever again. if i hadnt had mine on when i wrecked i wouldnt have too much of a face left right now.

how much is the srt4 worth with bad motor? and how much do you think your car would sell for? in all honesty unless your car has super low miles i would do the trade. do you want a car thats fast(but sounds like shit), and looks like a ladybug? or do you want a good looking t/a that sounds good but might not be as fast? IMO i would do the trade. i am also biased against lt1's though, and will never buy another one(ive had 5 of them. 3/5 had opti problems, one blew a headgasket, and one ran perfect with no problems(had a new motor in it though.)
