  1. I watched it on Youtube last week. Not good quality (which is kinda the whole point with 3d) but it was still good. Just checked and it was taken down already. Glad I downloaded it with tubemate on my droid.

As soon as it's available in the US (costs like 35 dollars plus on Ebay) I will buy it cause I want the whole 3D surround sound experience.

  2. I'm probably not going to make this one either unfortunately. I wimp out under 60 degrees and with the threat of rain....I wimp out even more. The nice weather just couldn't hold out one more day.

I'd put money on next month having beautiful weather. We're almost out of these 40 and 50 degree days I think.

  3. Didn't see any replies before I went to bed.....but it was minimal notice.

I will probably head out for a couple of hours here soon.....thinking like 4 oclock. If any of you guys want to join (or anyone else for that matter) for an evening ride before it gets cold again post up and we'll meet.

  4. Thought I'd see if anyone wants to ride? I'll probably be hitting some roads tomorrow around noon....thought I'd see if anyone has the day off and wanted to ride. I may go North of Newark or go South to Perry county....depends on who else joins up. Thinking maybe meet at Noon. Probably meet at Buckeye lake depending on who wants to go.

  5. So how does this work?

I have a fifteen year old bike. I am interested in the numbers it puts out but it has minimal mods. Will I need to rev it to redline? 1st through 6th gear all the way through the rpms? Or just through the gears as I normally ride? Just curious.

  6. I'm quoting your post but this goes for everyone: Nobody should ever worry about slowing the group down. Stretching your legs for a few minutes at a stop sign while the rest catch up is nothing compared to the possibility of a fellow rider going in over their head and wrecking. It's common for open-invite O-R rides to be a grab bag of experience, skill level, and machine performance, and not a single "fast" person minds waiting - if they did, they wouldn't be riding with that group to begin with.

Exactly....couldn't have said it better myself.

Many many times I am slower than the OR guys I ride with. They don't mind waiting on me....and I don't mind waiting on others. Always ride at your skill level and never worry about needing to ride faster to keep up.

I'd rather wait for 20 minutes and have everyone make it to the next intersection than have someone hurt....or have someone head home.

I'm sure we'll see ya out again Cookie. You're welcome anytime.

  7. coOkie,

When you are riding in a group I am leading you will never have to worry about getting lost. We will always wait for everyone before a turn is made and if someone does not show up, we will send someone back to find you.

Even though I was not planning on leading this ride or even joining the ride it was great riding with you all. I hated to see the ZX-10 go down, it is never good to see a bike go down but if it is going to happen, it is also great that he was not injured.

I hope to see you all next Saturday for the Christian Sport Bike Assoc. ride. I am not sure what route you all took after I left with the ZX-10 but next weekends ride will be the same as I was planning on taking today so you should be familiar with the roads. We will meet at 9:30 and depart at 10:00 from Calvary Chapel of Columbus on E. Livingston Ave.

JC....I personally appreciated you leading the ride. I know I set it up but I also know a lot of the guys had far more experience than I do and know the roads better....I didn't want to hold anyone up. Really solid group of good guys today. Guess that's OR for ya. :)

After you took off we went onto 60 and then onto 62. Left onto 62 for less than a mile to 520 and 514 back to 62 and then we all split off home.

Cookie.....the way I see it is you have to expose yourself to those corners to get better. Even if the bike is low......go slow and it'll make it around those corners. Hope to see you out again. I know every time I go out I get better. There was a time (4 months ago) when I thought I should head home early. I laid the bike down softly on route 60 cause the corner got tighter than I expected. Picked it back up....ripped on the throttle while starting it and dumped all the fuel that had flooded it and rode the rest of the day with these guys. I was extremely close to calling it a day and I'm glad I didn't. Dust yourself off and try again. We'll always wait.

Once again guys....lotsa fun. Glad everyone is safe...even if their bike isn't.

  8. Yep....it was good to meet some new guys and put some miles in. Amazing weather besides the wind. Glad ZX10-R guy (which I wish I remembered everyone's name but there were too many) is ok. When I came up on him I thought for sure he wasn't. And some TLC and a little money and that bike will be right back on the road.

Once again....lotsa fun guys and hopefully I'll see ya next weekend.

  9. I'm in - no way I'm passing up an 80 degree day.

Are you referring to the McDonalds just south of 70 on Hebron Road in Buckeye Lake? If you can confirm that before 11ish tomorrow I'll meet you there - otherwise I'll be at the KFC in Newark at noon.

    See you guys then!

Yep...thats the one. Sits off (West) of Hebron rd a little bit but it's on Hebron rd.

    See ya in the am.

  10. I'm going to try and make it tomorrow. I'm down for a nice ride. I feel the same. I'm not super fast guy but my right hand does get a little itchy every now and then.

Thats cool man....be glad to see you there.

I know Cookie is meeting me at McDs in Buckeye Lake. If you guys can post where you plan to meet it'll help so we know when we have everyone.

And if you don't make it, you don't make it. But at least let us know where you plan to join up.

  11. I think I can make it I have a black Buell. I will be the old man ha ha

No problem man. I wouldn't say I ride slow but I am definitely not fast and everyone rides at their own pace. Everyones welcome.

We'll be at the Buckeye Lake McDonalds at 11:40am and KFC in Newark on 16/79 (cedar Street at noon). Hope to see ya there

And if that's you in your thumbnail.....doesn't look like you need Viagra to get it up. haha

  12. I'm planning to ride tomorrow since it was a mess today. Same plan as today....meet at KFC at Noon (Cedar street in Newark, Route 16 and 79).

Anyone from Columbus that wants to meet in Buckeye lake at the McDonalds be there at 11:40am and we'll ride to KFC together.

    Who all's in?

  13. It's not looking good at all guys. Looks like a soggy mess and I don't see it clearing for the next few hours anyway.

I'm just gonna try again tomorrow. Anyone that wants to go we can meet at KFC on 16/79 at noon tomorrow.

  14. Joey614 said maybe. But to plan I needed more than that soooo...... Cookie: Take 70 East til you get to the Buckeye Lake exit route 79 about 5 miles past the route 37 exit. Take 79 South and stop at the McDonalds almost immediately on the right. I'll meet you there at 11:40 as long as the rain holds out.
