  1. I really wanted to join your ride Will. Fog was crazy thick here. Just too dangerous. Sorry I missed your post Link. Another time. It was a nice day. Can't believe all the bugs already. Must be planing on a lot of traffic on 164. Trucks that is. A ton of new squiggley road signs. Supposed to be major boom in shale drilling. Doc your too kind. Biffed the same turn on 646 as I did on last ride last season. Same deal...tires slid. Not even close to the edge. Glad all are home safe.

  2. May the Angels from Heaven come down and comfort the parents and family of that little Man. Fear not for him as he is in great hands. The parents are whom need all the love and support than can be offered. Now is not the worst time for them but when everyone goes away. You have a wise little one Tim. He is gonna be okay. How does one get thru it? I lost a daughter 10 years ago.It does not get better it just gets a little easier. I'm not looking for any response ... You just never know people. Hugem and lovem as much as you can. Much love and prayers to the family.

  3. I'd like to know if there are suspension tuning clinics or classes offered anywhere. Now that I have a bike with fully adjustable suspension, I want to know how to use it. I also plan on doing a GSXR fork/shock swap on my SV, but again I'd like to know how to get the most out of the components at the track.

I know I can shell out $80 to have someone set it up for me at the track, but I can't afford that every track day and would like to know what's going on and how to get desirable results.

http://www.onthethrottle.tv/ This is not a direct answer to your question but if you want to gain some knowledge of suspension go to this site> How to and start going thru the offerings. Lots of good info to be had.Hope it is helpfull.
  4. Is it just me or are Honda Goldwings old people bikes? Wife and I are really starting to look for a 2 up bike for this fall or next year. I look at the Goldwings and I can't help but think I am too young for a goldwing. Am I wrong? I will say they look very comfy.

So how old do you have to be? How many tattoos do I need to ride a Harley? I'm 60,Too old for a sport bike? I joined up at 43 and I wish I would have done it sooner. My wife and I have had some of the best times in our life on the Wing. Don't ride one if you don't want one and if you don't want one don't let your wife ride on one. The 1800's handle alot better than the 1500 and have a little more power but the 1500 is quite capable. This is ours.We have traveled every state east of the Miss. River and camped in several. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHTFfRNTZF8

  5. I have an older Lincoln ( sp 170) similar to this. Does not have the spool gun option which would be nice. What you have picked out looks to to be a nice set up. Lincoln is my favorite welder to weld with. Never any problems. When I read this thread on my phone I thought I saw a mention of duty cycle ? Duh. Click the product info pdf on your link. It lists duty cycle at a specific voltage. 30% duty means how long you can run it continuously at that voltage for 10 minuetes. 30% = 3 min run and 7 min rest. This is usally at the higher end of it max output. Quite happy with mine.
