  1. I bought it from a Ford engineer up in a third world place called Detroit who brought it up from Florida.
  2. This car is made for racing (plenty of them are still competitive in different classes) and that is exactly what I wanted to use it for - DE track days with the local PCA. They will, with minor mod's, spank a 911's ass on the track. But, finances and other distractions have kept it a garage queen with just about everything I need to set it up right and take care of the clutch/timing belt maintenance needs. And of course, you can always swap in a GM V-8 for crazy fast fun.
  3. They're fun cars that handle amazingly well but can be a bit expensive to maintain. But, that's typical for quality German cars and at least parts are still readily available for them.
  4. I wear contacts and have worn glasses for years riding even though they can be a PITA with certain helmets but otherwise never an issue. You just have to careful pressing them into place along sides of the helmet's padding and adjust them for your nose fitment which only takes seconds to do it right. As for the contacts, other than drying out from the air flow which seems to be related to the brand I wear, they've never been an issue with the shield down (I also wear sunglasses).
  5. See, you did that all wrong....you should have LEFT the house for a week or more to see how they would respond. Pigsty = here are the rules, dumbass - no help with the cleaning, no poontang. Cleaned it up = Attaboy, keep it up and you might get some poontang.
  6. Well, us single guys gotta do it or live in a pigsty.
  7. Damn, don't look at the guard rail, numnuts.....both are lucky.
  8. For sale is my 1986 Porsche 951 (aka 944 Turbo), all original. I've lost interest in it as of last year and have no plans to dump anymore $$$ into it - my loss is your gain. Guards Red 93,134 miles 5 speed with OEM cooler Black printed cloth interior Sunroof (works) Wiper delete rear hatch 17"x9" and 17"x10" forged CCW's with UHP Summer tires (force load balanced) Florida car, never driven in the salt or snow of the Ohio winters Garage stored, doesn't leak or burn oil but it does leak PS fluid Waxed before winter storage Has a few dings but is rust and dent free Replaced the tie rods 2 years ago along with the battery I bought the car 2.5 years ago and haven't driven it too much. It's been on a trip to WV and to IN but that's it for long range driving with zero issues. I've mostly driven it on local weekend/errand runs, and a trip to Mid-Ohio for a Grand-Am race. Maintenance needs: Clutch is chattering on engagement, needs replacement, tranny shifts fine (have a lightly used Spec II clutch/pp purchased with a billet steel 7.6 # flywheel, can include at no extra cost) Timing belt and rollers (have a Kevlar already purchased and will confirm if I have the rollers, too) Might have a pulley bearing going bad A/C needs to be recharged for summer (blows cold), still has 12A. Needs new struts (have a set of used Bilstein Sports which will be included) Oil pressure sensor is bad PS lines leak (have purchased one line and it will be included) Rear hatch release needs some work, very finicky, and the struts are shot I have a plethora of various spare parts and go-fast goodies collected for it (hard pipes, 2.5" cat-back, chips, etc.). I also have a collection of maintenance records/receipts going back to the original owner but I do not believe it is a complete collection. I also have the original phone dials with winter tires with very low miles on them. I have pics in my gallery along with these: Asking price is $7,500 obo and is located in the Akron/Canton Ohio area.
  9. Cold outside and you need to burn energy? That's what sex is for....
  10. You're right about that, RR. I'm still waiting for mine to show up at the gun dealer after nearly two months of waiting but tomorrow is the deadline - no rifle and the deal is off.
  11. Sam knows how to throw a bike into some twisties and Gixxer's are good steeds....I miss my '92 1100. He's fast people.
  12. I have a sound bar and it is definitely one directional.
  13. There is a Garand on Gunbroker.com - saw it yesterday while looking for a M1A - and it is reasonably priced.

    Foster Dogs

Both are beautiful and if I could have a dog at my place, I'd be interested. Good luck finding loving home for the both of them.
  15. Hopefully you'll get the chance to get the guy riding safely, Sam.....but I wouldn't hold my breath. Sometimes they have to learn the hard way.

I'm not picky, I'll take one or all of them (but the one on the left is looking the best).
  19. Having a little bit of gray hair helps alleviate any doubts about not being over 21 even though I was getting carded well into my mid-40's. Being bald doesn't help either if the employee is more worried about losing their job - can't blame them, really.
  20. I can't read anything on facingbook but why would I lock up my weapons from myself? My closets work just fine for my needs. But, if I had kids a safe would make PC sense in today's f'ed up world even though my dad taught me how to respect his firearms....or else....and my kids would learn the same lesson.
