It begins when a naked carnival worker climbs up on a North Fort Myers couple's roof and it ends with several shots fired and a neighborhood wondering why this even happened. Four in your Corner's Mike Mason is here now with this unbelievable story. This couple had no idea who this man was and you can tell they were scared to death by listening to the frantic 911 call. Things are now quiet in this rural section of North Fort Myers but residents are still on edge after a man terrorized their neighbors Monday night. Operator: "Okay sir, I need to know who you shot." Tony Land: "I don't know who the hell he is, he's naked and he run into my damn house." The chilling 911 call tells the story. At around 7pm Tony and LaDonna Land were in their bedroom when they heard a sound like thunder. Tony tells police he went outside and found a crazed man on the roof - completely naked. He then jumped off, landed on Tony and began punching him. Operator: “Sir, sir what is going on?” Tony Land: "(Bleep) you're fixing to die now!" According to reports, 21 year old Gregory Bruni from Venice ran into the couple's house and grabbed their TV and that's when Tony told his wife to "get the gun". LaDonna fired 3 rounds from her .38 caliber but missed. The terrified couple then called 911. Tony Land: "Lay down, I'm talking to you, I won't say it again! Lay down, (bleep) give me my shotgun now I need the shotgun not the pistol, I'm going to...." Bruni was held at gunpoint until deputies arrived. He was then taken to Lee Memorial Hospital to be evaluated. Tony Schall: "He's under observation at the hospital and then they'll arrest him after he's released from the hospital." According to reports, Bruni is a carnival worker. Neighbors suspect he may have been in town for an upcoming fair at the Lee Civic Center next door. Tony Schall: “We need to figure out who this guy is and why he was acting that way and proceed appropriately." Bruni is still at the hospital. He faces a number of charges including battery, burglary and criminal mischief. A toxicology test will determine what if any drugs he had taken.

Makes you wonder why in Article One of the US Constitution, Section 8 (Powers of Congress) the militia is not maintained vs.a standing army as our Founding Fathers intended. If this were the case, you would have the citizenry actively involved in protecting the Republic and there wouldn't be a chance in hell of something of this nature happening. "To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;" To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;.." Throw in the The United Nations Rapid Deployment Police and Security Force Act of 2001 (House Resolution 938) and we could have foreign troops on our streets. As a former soldier and NCO, I know that I nor the men I served with would have followed through with any such order. NFW.

Install nscd using the following command: sudo aptitude install nscd Flush DNS Cache in Ubuntu Using the following command: sudo /etc/init.d/nscd restart After doing the above process with the Terminal, closing and re-opening my browser has made a noticeable difference.

Nice pad and kinda pricey for rent but I don't live in Mentor. I wouldn't rent it unless you're absolutely certain they wouldn't trash it. ^^^ Thank you, Casper. That is some messed up draconian bullshit from NY. I still don't understand why the citizens, especially from the northern parts of the state, haven't petitioned the Governor and State Legislature about the violations of their State Constitution as well as the 2nd Amendment. I guess that state is bought and paid for.

I drive about 50k miles per year and deal with this everyday I'm on the road for work. I typically do 10% over the posted speed limit but I will run faster if it means not holding up the flow of traffic until I can safely get out of their way. I use the left lane to pass only, speed up if someone is rolling up on my ass doing 80 (happens a lot, it's annoying and unsafe but you can't fix stupid), and do my best to avoid getting behind the no-brainers who will inevitably clog up the hammer lane doing at or just over the speed limit. They're really not that hard to identify and if it means passing on the right to get around them, so be it.
