I don't think Avery did it. There were 36 million reasons for the Manitowoc Sheriffs department to put him away or at least pressure him into settling, and it worked. I think most of his creepiness towards Halbach comes from the fact that he was a horny hillbilly that had been away from women for 18 years. She had been out there multiple times on jobs, she knew where she was going. If she legitimately felt threatened or in danger, she would've taken the right measures. I would like to know who was calling her phone regularly that was reportedly a nuisance, I'm sure the phone records were looked at. How involved would it be to lower it? Are they just coil springs front and rear? I'm thinking ditch the mud flaps, lower it, and put some wide whites on the steelies painted body color. If it's not flashy enough, you could still put some trim rings and/or spider caps on them.

I think it's completely possible he didn't realize his license was suspended. Deadline for the fine was Dec. 1st, after going through the court system, DMV, etc., he may have not even been notified yet.

I think it comes down to why his license is suspended. Im guessing he will still play though, he's already in Arizona and more than likely not coming back next year. I would think that if his license was suspended for any major wrong doing, it would've already been public knowledge.

Another vote for C5 Z06, or an 08+ base if you can find one in your budget. A common thing with threads like this is "I want an awesome car, in this budget, but I want to be different". The fact of the matter though, is there's a reason why you see the same car(s) over and over within your budget that check all boxes.

Not trying to cut your car down, but now might be a good time to clean up that rust on the motor mount bracket before it gets worse. I'd say fresh plugs will get it going again.

It looks like he at least learned to wait until after it was "fixed" to make a thread on this one, as opposed to making a thread about what a great deal it will be, easy to fix, great flip, etc. on day 1 then updating with weekly fails.
