  1. He was active this morning...
  2. Check around and see what dealerships are offering on new machines. I bought a Husqvarna Z560 last Spring for about $1500 off MSRP and 0% financing for 3 years. I’ll average about 50 hours per season and it’s stored inside, so it should last me a long time. Still not cheap, but after weighing out all the options, I don’t regret it a bit.
  3. Hasn’t posted in 7 months, but she still checks to see what’s going on around here. Lol
  4. Based on the description, I think $4k is high but $2500-3500 could be reasonable. I know we’re all car guys, and that sounds super cool, but for a spare run around vehicle mostly for time with the kids, just get a turn key TJ. You get the same feeling of an outdated shitwagon, but slightly less outdated.
  5. Beautiful truck! Perfectly optioned and modded for a daily.
  6. My brother rented an SS last year from Enterprise.
  7. Tinman pm’d me his contact info earlier after clearing it with him. Thanks guys!
  8. That’s the car, and the original color. Paint code is Y3. The author told me it’s the last color he needs. He’s located 4 of them. One is a Hemi car in South Carolina, two 383 cars in Europe, and this is the 4th.
  9. Does anybody happen to know a guy named Corey who attends Cars and Coffee with his 1969 Roadrunner? It’s a light tan (Sandpebble Biege to be exact) with a black hood and plates say COREY JR. There’s a guy who has written a few Mopar books and is in the process of tracking down a ‘69 Roadrunner for each color available for display trying to contact him. Probably not necessary, but if he needs narrowed down anymore, I know that he went to OU in 05-06.
  10. You have a 420 whp awd sedan daily, a 580 whp weekend sports car, and a 875 whp awd shitbox racecar. I’m just not seeing the appeal in a 134k mile 10 year old base model entry level Porsche. You move to the beat of your own drum though, fire away.
  11. Hard to believe that’s a 7 year old vehicle. Beautiful work!
  12. The fact that you like the YJ is a good start, not a big buyers market for them. Don’t even consider a 4 cylinder and avoid rust. I’d try to find one that already has full doors and a hardtop, those are expensive to add later if you want them, or can be sold for a good bit to put money back in your pocket. Good luck. #jeeplifebrah
  13. Fine steel wool usually works well on chrome for me.
  14. Pepperidge Farm remembers, that’s for damn sure.
  15. -9 pages -CR delivers multiple suggestions based on your feedback and your budget -CRs most respected member offers one of the best available examples of a top suggestion -You have somehow gotten nearly everyone to agree with Kerry -Your reasoning for not liking any of the suggestions is now “emotional” -You mentioned being 28 and acted like a C5 would be an accomplishment at your age I’m going to guess that your budget is actually half of what you state, and/or you are a female. Enjoy your Lincoln MKZ.
  16. My brother lives in Naples. I flew down for his wedding last April and stopped by here to drool, and can’t speak highly enough of these guys. I was nervous about how they’d react to me being there with no intentions of buying anything, but they couldn’t have been nicer. I told them right away I was just admiring, they told me to hang out and take as many pictures as I wanted. A couple of the guys talked cars with me for a bit once they realized I had some knowledge about what I was looking at. On that day, some of the more notable cars were a Bugatti Veyron, Spyker C8 Laviolette, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, McLaren P1, McLaren 675LT Spider and countless other “normal” exotics. Last June, I saw the two Corvette C8 prototypes stopped at a light on Main Street here in Jackson and got several photos. Lol
  17. Top 2 contenders for the OP is a Lincoln MKZ and Mustang V6. This thread should play out in classic CR fashion.
  18. Some good suggestions already. My C5 Z06 wasn’t a daily, but I drove it a good bit and loved every minute of it. You should definitely be able to find a decent one in that price range. S197 would have more modern amenities and a fresher look/feel I’d guess, but worse gas milage if that’s a factor. E55 is a car I’ve always wanted but never picked up. I think they still look great, sound great and would probably be the most comfortable, but not sure about autocross performance. Something that hasn’t been mentioned yet, B8 S4? Seems like you can find an earlier higher milage one in that range. Those seem to be popular on here so I’m sure you can get some educated opinions. Really just comes down to what’s most important to you, because everything mentioned so far is very different from one another.
  19. The Prowlers still turn heads, despite being terribly underpowered. I think they look great with the bumpers deleted. With the leaps in technology since they were built and the limited space in the engine bay, it’d be cool to see one with a turbo 4 or 6 cylinder swap.
  20. Boris Maryanovsky at Street Machinery in Euclid is building a Hellcat swapped old C10 for Power Tour right now and I think he’s done one before. Might be him you’re thinking of.
  21. Got a link for that spoiler? Looks awesome.
  22. That will be a really cool color combo! So, is the E55 for sale now?
