    Walking Dead

I'm over The Walking Dead, but feel obligated to watch it still. Really looking forward to Better Call Saul tonight and tomorrow.
  2. Wonder if Grant Imahara will be involved since he's no longer on Mythbusters.
  3. Holy shit lol. At :32 the side of his face is damn near purple haha
  4. I read that the same, but thought rather than rewarding his dedication, his boss just says he expects other employees to do the same. Throw the guy a bone, buy him a bike or search for programs to get him a ride like mentioned in the article, something more than a pat on the back. Oh well, dude has made much more than me in the last 2 days so he's getting his recognition.
  5. I agree that there are too many lazy asses today, but that doesn't mean a hard worker shouldn't get recognition. His boss sounds like a dick to me. He knows the guys situation, and basically says "I use him as an example when I hear excuses from other employees, and I give him some of last nights leftovers for lunch".
  6. What issues are you having with the sbc? I can't imagine abandoning it and starting fresh with a completely different swap would be time and cost efficient at all.
  7. Yes, yes. Absolutely gorgeous. 2015 has started off incredibly well for car guys.
  8. I love it, but my first thought was "a REAL manual? Much wow", followed by "Yayyy cheap Focus STs for everyone!"

  10. I truly, honestly have absolutely no idea how she is on tv. I have never seen her make a valid point, and as you said, when her guests make her look ignorant, she squaks over top of them and goes to commercial.

    GTO Feature

Very nice car, clean setup. I think it deserves some nicer wheels though.
  12. 1998 Neon R/T in 2002. My grandpa was the used car manager of the local Chrysler dealership and called me to check it out. Original owner had traded it in, it had 100,048 miles on it. I got it for $2500 after they did the timing belt and a full detail. It was bone stock and over the next couple years I did full bolt ons, suspension, wheels, etc on my high school minimum wage budget with a lot of used parts and trading lol. I had a lot of fun in it and it was decently quick. I actually sold it to a buddy after a few years, then bought it back like a month later. Eventually sold it to my cousin for his first car, who tore the shit out of it. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/4545d41e.jpg
  13. Regarding semis and other large vehicles, they do make a tool for snow removal. http://www.scrapersystems.com
  14. I wonder how much the lack of rear bumper played into that. I know it had already spun the day before into the grass and damaged the rear diffuser, so the removed the whole bumper and went for it again.
  15. Should make big power, but I'm also in the "GN should be turbo V6 and turbo V6 only" camp. Good luck, I'll be following along regardless. Any pics of the car?
  16. Sounds like a tough situation. Do you think discussing it with your mother would help or hurt matters?
  17. Talking about sub $5k STi's and jewelry store loans...NOW it's a buster thread.
  18. My parents have always had a Dodge or Chrysler van for the last 20+ years with no issues. Mom currently drives a 2013 (I think) T&C loaded with HIDs, DVD, heated leather etc.. I drove it to Charleston, SC a couple years ago and really liked it. My dad just bought a 2015 Caravan for his business, but I haven't driven it yet. I don't know if there's any updates recently, but they changed the V6 a few years ago and the difference between my moms '08 T&C and her current one was huge I thought. I know this isn't a financial thread, but I'd advise buying used to avoid taking a hit on the value. Plenty of nice used high end models out there for less than a new base model, and when you're hauling kids those extra options usually make things a lot easier.
  19. Do not part it out. List it for sale and continue to drive it to work. If it's still around at the end of the year, try to replace the aftermarket stuff with stock parts and donate it, then sell the aftermarket. Either you wait a year to donate it, or you spend a year parting it out and leave it inoperable and probably an eyesore.
  20. I also noticed the lack of drama inside to be spinning to 100+. Maybe the T/A was a little down on power, or maybe he didn't want to give any credit to the Civic hanging with him.
  21. He was still behind both of them on the roster. I don't care if he could start anywhere, he saw very little playing time before having the weight of the world put on his shoulders and look at what he's done.
