  1. http://blogs.hotrod.com/2015-dodge-challenger-hellcat-horsepower-announced-126523.html#axzz36FXiWj00 Hot Rod says 707 hp
  2. Which is a modified GT500, so who's to say an aftermarket company won't crank 850+ out of the Hellcat?
  3. Orrrrrrr how about spend the "mod" money on things like plugs, fuel filter, air filter, brakes, etc. and then worry about a working radio.
  4. This shot is ridiculous. Absolutely love it.
  5. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/4466621890.html Perfect beach cruiser, and money left over to make sure it's good mechanically. If it's already reliable with a/c, drop it on some wheels.
  6. There was a GLH-T with 29k original miles at the Chrysler Classic last weekend....for $10k.
  7. I had forgotten about it, but I now remember walking through it as a kid. I'm 27 now, when did they remove it, and why?
  8. Very unassuming 10 sec car, I dig it. Did something damage the hood?
  9. There was an episode recently that was a guy with a 78-79 Monte Carlo with an LS swap. The insider said he was planning on selling his prized daily (a 99-02 Silverado with custom paint and lowered on big wheels) to fund the rest of the Monte Carlo. Chip went to his house, said it was obvious he had done a lot of quality work to the Monte Carlo and was close to finishing it, so they did a 2014 Impala for him to replace the Silverado. It was typical Chip style and he gave the insider a choice of like 4 wheels, she picked some terrible ones, then after the big reveal and all that, Chip brought the guy back to the shop and showed him some wheels he had MHT cut that weren't finished in time. The guy was more ecstatic about changing those wheels than he was when they gave him the car, lmao.
  10. This. I watch it whenever it's on, and honestly it seems like a majority of the owners are either just regular guys who bought a "cool old car" and don't know how to fix it up, or already have really tacky taste to begin with, so they genuinely like the big wheels and two tone paint. I'm confident that I've told my wife enough times how I'd like my Dart to eventually be that she wouldn't let it get out of hand. If so, like Aaron said, they redo them top to bottom and in a case of a popular car with a big aftermarket they usually do a nice suspension/brake setup etc. so if it was awful, I'd play it up for the cameras and then talk to Chip about different wheels or paint or whatever.
  11. I don't think he means they're structurally weaker, but when they're built, it's with the intention of being ran on perfectly smooth tracks and not speed bumps, pot holes, etc.. It seems to me that a lot of racing accidents involving this type of wheel does tend to break it, usually the barrel away from the center. Farkas, reading that you don't expect this to be the last time, makes me cringe at the thought of that car getting the fenders or quarters damaged if it does happen again.
  12. I couldn't find the rest of the project, but this is exactly what I was going to say. I understand the want/need for a daily to save wear and tear, and the more it saves on gas the better, but any mpg mods over ~$100 or so, I just don't see the payoff unless you put a ton of miles on it.
  13. I have a buddy in Jackson that most likely has at least one. He deals in used Mustang parts and will ship. His name is Steve and number is 740-418-5833 text or call
  14. The funniest part to me is that he blows by her, realizes she's recording him, so he slows down just to smile and give her the bird. Seconds later, his big smile turns into an oh shit face as he spins across the median into a pole, backwards no less. If he just would've passed her and moved on with his life there's a 99% chance the accident wouldn't happen. Maybe he had to shit really bad?

Yes, straight 6. I wasn't awake yet and was just replying to Stevens post.

The flat hood tells me it's not a 400, the huge tach on the dash tells me it's not a 6. Can't read the emblem on the hood. Seriously though, looks like an easy resto and a good price on a solid 1 gen F-body.
  17. I like the wing, but I think it needs wheels to compliment it.
  18. There's things that I have no interest in, but think "eh, somebody likes it, I guess", then there's stuff like this and I just think "what a fucking moron".
  19. I like the way the grille is done, only thing that sticks out to me is the centercaps. I'm guessing they're plastic and couldn't be coated, but painting them a similar color or black would help to me. Car looks fantastic regardless, I almost traded the Mustang for a Stealth Gray '05, but it fell through unfortunately.
  20. I believe the wheels are 18x10 and they have a decent sized spacer all around as well. Timing isn't right for him with a wedding coming up. No biggie.
  21. Turbo goes WHOO WHOOOOOO
  22. Same here. Also, from the looks of the 2 CV3 pics, lowering the car is a must.
  23. Sounds like what you've got planned will make it look a lot cleaner. May I also suggest some spacers for the wheels and maybe do the coil covers in black to break up all the skullage. Did you keep the drag setup from the fox? Think they were Mickey Thompsons if I remember right?
