Interesting, I’ve always thought the Z3 and X5 were ugly as hell. The color combo on this particular X5 is certainly doing it no favors.

Season 2 is coming and we might have a few other fun things coming as well.

 

Both guys seem like they’d be fun to be around and know their subject, I think it’s just the “intense host” vibe that gets me. I always prefer the laid back, average joe approach. I do think the show did a great job of keeping it real and showing some good tech.

I watched every episode along the way and really liked the show. I felt like Lyle and the boys were the ones to beat right from the start, glad to see they were able to get the car lined out in the end. I think the only thing I didn’t really like were the hosts. I’ve never liked Dennis on any program, and Brian was ok at times but a terrible actor when it came time for the drama lol

 

Congrats on a great first season, hope it gets the green light for season two.

I hope it was a bargain, lol. I remember a long time ago watching Horsepower TV (may have still been Hot Rod TV at the time) install one of the systems on a red LS1 Camaro I believe, and even then I was pretty skeptical of the setup. Doesn’t seem like they ever really caught on.

That’s a gorgeous truck. It has to feel good as the owner to drop it off as a work truck showing some age and wear then pick it up looking like the day you bought it!

Those $75 wheels are a great way to make it look like a $2000 car.

Nice find! Needs some 17” chrome Pony Rs and a slight lowering. I’d also be tempted to do it “period correct” and go with some silver 17” Cobra Rs.

I would guess the car is worth a good bit more, which, based on the collection in the background, I’d guess the seller would know that. I’d go over it top to bottom and drive it before handing over the cash. Neat car though.

Great job on the engine bay detailing, but I think it’d be WELL worth the investment to have you do the whole car once the bumper is painted, for both the increased value and the high quality pictures!

I’m loving this series and could definitely see it making television. Team Bigun is killing it!

Probably, but I think at this point with all the media attention and whatnot, they won’t just let him off the hook entirely.

I think he’s going to be reinstated very soon with a 1-3 game ban.

My ‘07 Civic had the same symptoms and the compressor clutch was wore out. It would work fine, then as it warmed up it would start slipping. Let it cool down (go into a store, let it sit overnight) and it would grab again.
