I’m jelly. I’ve been looking HARD at B8 S4s the last couple weeks, but I think I’ve accepted the fact that I really “need” a crew cab truck. Congrats.

It’s not too hard to find decent C6 ZR1s in the low 50s now, C6 Z06s are low 30s and occasionally high 20s for a clean title car.

Looks good, that was a solid deal. Add headlights to the list.

Didn’t read all these Geeto level novels, but just sell the Supra while the offer is good. Continue to daily the Ram and use it while you work on the house. Ride the GSXR when you feel the need to. If you haven’t taken it out much by mid summer, sell it while the market is hot. Focus on the house since that’s your current interest, then when you get burnt out on the house, revisit the car situation. You’ll have money in the bank and possibly a more realistic idea of your wants and needs.

The problem is, all of the designs/prints are very tacky or gaudy, especially on anything bigger than small interior or engine bay pieces.

I had a '69 Dart for a few years that looked great and ran awesome, but it was still a 45+ year old vehicle. I probably got more compliments on that car than anything I've ever owned, yet I drove it the least. In the end, the desire for "modern reliability" won and I sold it. I was talking with a friend about it shortly after selling it, and he said something that seemed to ring true.

My '03 Silverado has been my main daily since September I believe and I absolutely love it. New enough to have "modern" conveniences, old enough to still "feel" like you're driving it, if that makes sense.

Sounds like a fun project and will be a great family cruiser you can enjoy and turn some heads in. I loooooove chrome ponys on foxbodys.

Color makes a big difference to me and will heavily influence a purchase, but it all depends on the vehicle. If it's a fair weather fun vehicle, I lean towards bright "look at me" colors. On a daily driver, I tend to prefer more understated incognito hues. Limited production colors are always interesting to me as well. I've noticed as I get older, I really appreciate dark metallic greens, browns and blues more than I did when I was younger.

 

In short, yes, color makes a difference, but it's all relevant to the vehicle.

I think Doc would be a good person to ask about this.

I don't know what the job cost them, but it was worth every single cent. That's incredible! It's screaming for tint now.

I know the Hyundota well. Buddy of mine built it and it's still local. It's...different...but well built, does great on trails and definitely gets attention around town lol

I had a turbo Mustang a couple years ago with a drivers side bumper exit, and the only time I ever noticed fumes was if I was stuck at a red light for a while or something. I suppose that could be dependent on the tune of the vehicle though. I'd go with the bumper exit myself.

I think this is the first "new vehicle" thread by you that I've ever been disappointed in. Still a sweet vehicle, just wasn't exciting. Lol
