5:55-6-10 is some of the coolest footage I've ever seen. Grumpy was a boss, but there was a lot of other badass old timers in that footage as well. I wish all professional racing was how it was back then. Very little sponsorship, just enough rules to keep everyone competitive but let each racer figure out their own way to do it, and cars that can realistically be built by average guys and look like what you can walk into the dealership and buy.

Agreed. The geezer went overboard and obviously shouldn't have let them lay around in his house for a day, but they were old enough to know what they were doing and he was alone in a house with previous break-ins and had no idea whether they were armed or what their intentions were. I would like to see PJD get thier own show and do regular customer bikes instead of corporate bikes. A majority of his bikes look killer, but would look a lot better without some ugly logo having to be used in the paint, as an air cleaner, as a spoke on the wheels, etc. Agreed that Senior is an ignorant fuck who has no hand in the design or build of his bikes, unless it's a personal bike for himself then it's always a super raked "old school chopper" which he'll help bolt the front end and gas tank on and let Rick build the rest. American Chopper is full of drama, but it's a guilty pleasure. A bit bittersweet that this build off will be their last episodes.

Saw them building it over the last few weeks. It's the only bike they've built in years that slightly interested me. That retarded man-baby they have designing their builds is terrible.
