  1. That'd be one hell of a pic to have framed in the man cave.
  2. I hate waiting for diesels to stage at the track. Cool swap though.
  3. The guy in the blue shirt slams his face like 4 times. Lmao
  4. I won't even acknowledge 99/01 Cobras in this response. The market is up right now on Terminators, so honestly I'd consider other options (and I know you will, and will post threads about them before the weekend lol). If it's something that's good at a little bit of everything yet not really great at anything and it won't be a primary kid hauler, I'd buy a used '11-'12 GT. If the kids are going to be along for the ride quite a bit, but you still want some manliness when you hammer on it, I'd stick with your holy grail CTS-V. If the kids won't see any seat time or will once at a time, I'd no doubt pick up a C5Z.
  5. Sucks to hear, seemed like a genuinely good guy and a great actor.
  6. Thanks! Just checked on another forum I posted this on and a guy posted that up with a 5% off code as well. Looks like I'll be ordering it tonight.
  7. Cobra has been on jack stands with the tank dropped for too long all because I haven't had the time to search for a new sending unit. New ones have the Cobra tax on them, but from what I understand a V6/GT one will work, I'll just have to swap over my level arm due to the baffles in the Cobra tank. Gonna try to save a few bucks on a used one before lubing up for a new one. This is what I'm looking for, however I need the porcelain to be in one piece and the wire to still be soldered on. 8. Wish it was a short wheel base and I'd pick it up tomorrow. GLWS
  9. That Supra looks like a handful. Turbo 2v looks pretty healthy as well, nice vids!

    NMRA

I know it, which is why I was so hopeful when our Kroger added a gas station a few months ago. No E85  I have to drive to Piketon (about 35-40 min) and fill up my 4 5 gallon jugs. Not worth the hassle for the little extra power. I'll just make it up with a bigger jet. Lol

    NMRA

I'm going to try to make it up Saturday. Probably won't drive the Cobra though, lack of E85 availability down here is killing me. Can't wait to get it to Brian for a 93 tune so I can enjoy the damn thing.
  12. Agreed with all of the above. We bought one for my son when he was around 2 months (4 months old now) and very rarely use it. When we do, it's on the floor with us playing with him, not on top of a table while we're out of sight. Some people's parents...
  13. I opened the thread expecting George Poteet. That man has/had some sick vehicles.

    EVO hunting

TR is for Tuner Ready. It's a stripped down WRX. Same drivetrain but no sideskirts, unpainted mirrors, different seats, radio, climate control, and some other stuff. When they were new it was a good way to get a WRX cheap, but I think now that they're a few years old and relatively close in price it's worth it to get a regular WRX or an STi if it's in the budget. Looks like the one in link has had a decent amount done to it though.
  15. Liked. Hopefully it'll make it into a store down this way, I enjoy trying out new sauces.
  16. Is that on 8 psi? Have they done any pulls with their exhaust system on it?
  17. There are quite a few used 2011-2012 5.0's for $25k or less on svtp. That'd be my choice, then buy a $1000 beater for winter when the time comes. Drop the budget to $20k and an Evo or STi would be my choice most likely.
  18. Reminds me of when a teenage girl gets a new car and wants wheels so daddy buys some the same size as factory so he doesn't have to buy tires too. No. Me. Gusta.
  19. Am I the only one that caught he works at Autozone and acts like he can't even figure out where it's losing oil or that it'd be a major job to swap a motor in a Honda? They're like Legos, everything falls into place. Keep the car you have, use your employee discount to repair what needs repaired, and stay off of any car related website (unless it's for maintenance help) until you're stable enough to have money to play with. Avoid the temptation of blowing money on cars right now. We've all been in a situation similar to yours at some point or another. I've been there, but now I'm 25 with a 4 month old, a wife, a decent house, and live a pretty comfortable life because I worked for it, kept my priorities straight, and planned pretty well.
