im honestly still trying to track down every mod on the car, it didnt come with a mod list or such. im just waiting for the title then the fun will begin with contacting the old owner, but from the looks of the turbo is a 18 or 20G with the larger exhaust hosing, i believe a cusco intake manifold full exhaust, fuel system injector size unknown i presume 850's. up graded clutch and short throw shifter, im also assuming that the motor has been rebuilt or built up at one point with the use of upgraded head gaskets and thicker intake manifold gaskets. also Joe, im going to keep if for a little while, while i love the thrill of driving a built fast STI for a DD i would much rather have one close to stock but as for the RX-7 is not going anywhere. even thought i have my Stock SSM for sale over at RX-7 club im not selling my FD and hurry up and get home so i can pick on your legacy lol. :fuckyeah:

i forget the exact street name but its a little west of COSI i just drive around looking for good spots, it one of those i could show you but cant tell you how to get there deals lol.

honestly the motor has enough supporting mods that i hardly notice any lag, it spools up amazingly fast.

Jones we have had this talk before, we both drive brands that get some kind of shit. while Audi has the rep "dont buy out of warranty" you good sir have had no issues. while my car's carry the bad rep of "boost in apex seals out" yet i have not had a single motor issue with 4 different rotary powered cars, maybe its luck on both ends or the fact we know what were doing with our cars. But on a side note i do think your shiny white S4 is sexy

recent news release states that Mazda will keep working on the Rotary design, but a production car that it will go into is no where in sight. its a sad thing to see the Rotary go out of production, i honestly believe that if auto makers would have been able to put it into production it would have been a truly great engine (damn 1970's oil crisis) as a race engine they can be made to truly take the abuses of racing the 1991 LeMans race proved that. N/A rotaries can take abuse and run for many years and laps with no issues, the 787B was making over 600HP and lasted 24 hours and won and Mazda also stated when they took apart the engine to look for any damage it was in perfect shape and had enough left in it to run another 24 hour race if needed. we all know race engines are not designed to last, but rather make mass amounts of power and win races even if that means rebuilding for every race in a series. just look at top fuel dragsters they are piston powered and those motors last maybe an event before being stripped down and rebuilt.

exactly, there looked to be issue halfway into the pull when it was smoking heavily, then it seemed as the head studs just stretched and snapped. probably some poorly made bolts, one thing for sure though that company would be getting a call the day after.

just needs a tube of gasket maker and it will be back to making power in no time. :gabe:

Nissan hands down the best bang for the buck out there, it simply pulled away from everything until the 458 started to catch up at the 1/4 mile mark simply great race.

that race shows just how fast the GT-R's trans is, for the split second it takes the Z06 to depress the clutch and shift the GT-R is gone! shit really moves out.
