  1. 27 riding an '07 Bandit 11k on it, 8 since September. Sport for when I get off work and Touring for the wife.
  2. I went up on Sunday to watch. There was a pretty good turnout and weather held out. Lots of fast stuff but more cars than bikes. I think there is a bike only event this fall.
  3. Helmet Gloves Armored Jacket Riding boots If going to work and wearing dress pants or riding "spirited" I wear over-pants with knee & butt armor.
  4. I bought a pair of these last fall: http://www.sporttour.com/shopexd.asp?id=2833 I've been wearing them almost everyday to work. Definitely warm, sizes are normal but get tall if your tall.
  5. Oh forgot to add this bike only has 737 miles. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-Suzuki-Bandit-GSF1250S-GSF-1250-S-1250S-Low-Miles-Runs-Drives-Great-/380415608919?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item5892898857
  6. So I was perusing ebay while waiting on the wife and came across a decent looking bandit. Then I read this: "This vehicle was legally purchased with a Bill Of Sale marked "Junked", and it is sold with a Bill of Sale."
  7. I picked up some textile overpants from sport tour in Cincy a few weeks ago. They did have some really good deals.
  8. Yeah that's what I thought. I have a Tahoe and have been thinking about lifting it for 33's or 35's, but it tows well and still fits in the garage for now.
  9. Looks good. Did you need to lift it any for the 285's?
  10. Ok so what really happened during the 2hrs the cops had the media distracted?...
  11. I bought a pair of Cortech Latigo boots last fall and have a little over 3000 miles on them and love them. There the waterproof ones not the air. I have a pair of tech 10's I wear in the dirt, but I found then Cortech fit and felt better A* street boots in the same price range.
  12. Sounds good. I know a strom rider in Lebanon, maybe I get him out as well.
  13. Nice craftsmanship. To bad there's no sound clip.
  14. +1 as long as its above 35 and not pouring down rain. Sorry but an 1 1/2hr drive in the cage doesn't excite me. Although I could always swing by comp accessories... I'll see if I can round up anyone else.
  15. +1 for kerosene to clean with. Suzuki recommends it in the manual. I used Maxima chain wax for a couple years in the dirt. I've switched to Dupont Multi-use teflon: http://www.lowes.com/pd_213197-39963-D00110101_?PL=1&productId=1059839 Works great. Spray it on while the chains warm after a ride or after a fill-up.
  16. Saw some pics a while back. Doesn't really get me excited, but it looks like a good everyday commuter.
  17. Thanks for posting this. I didn't see this commercial and just glancing at their website there is more to it than just gun sales, like the National Concealed Carry Reciprocity issue. I'll definitely look into this and share it.
  18. Hey just wanted to introduce myself. I've been looking through the forum every now and then and since its too snowy and salty to ride figured I'd join. I live a little east of Cincinnati. I'm only riding on the street for the time being, until I find a dirt worthy saddle to put back in the garage. Here's a pic of the current ride its a 07 GSF1250S. It's mostly stock. I have added a relay, terminal strip and 12v outlet for accessories, a Two Brothers carbon slip on, modified the airbox lid added a K&N and tweaked the PAIR system. Oh yeah and a home-milled fork brace.
