  1. Anyone up for heading down to southern Ohio tomorrow? No set in stone route but there are plenty of roads south of 70 that are fun. Maybe work our way from 800 down towards Marietta and back, I have a route written down on my computer.

-Meet at the Bolivar DQ right off of 77 at 8:30am and kickstands up by 8:45.

    -Mild pace.

-Planning on doing about 250-300 miles total depending where you're coming from.

    Anyone up for it?

  2. That road used to be a decent ride but for me it isn't worth it anymore, with the amount of people and bikes (and deer) on the road that get in the way it takes the fun out of it. But the worst part about a deer on the side of the road is that you don't know if more are with it that plan to cross.

  3. I try not to since it's boring as hell but if I want to ride around in southern Ohio all day I'll usually take 77 to bolivar or something and hop off. Then I'll work my way back up through fun roads.

  4. I have to agree with those saying they wouldn't deliver it. If someone really want to buy something they'll figure out a way to get to you. Not to mention your wife has reason to worry so why act like an ass and call her nosy? The only reason your selling is because she got you the newer bike in the first place, right?

Like baptizo said, listen to your wife. Good luck to you..

  5. If I would've seen this earlier I'd have been in, but seeing as it'd be a late start I'm not sure we'd be able to get to any good roads without riding into late afternoon. But chime in if you may want to give it a go, I may be down for slabbing to 70 and riding the roads around there.

  6. I've never had many issues with android based phones and currently have the Razr Maxx. Everything has been fine for me except for the speaker getting blown but it was covered under warranty.

If you want a phone that does what you need it to and don't care much about messing with it then the iphone will probably be your best bet. They're not as great as they originally were but for some people the details don't matter much and they stick with what they know.

If you want to have a phone with more ability to customize and tweak things then an android phone will likely suit you well. As for the crashes it must be certain manufacturers because I've never had an issue with random crashing unless I was experimenting with different ROMs and such, but that's a whole different discussion.

I never understood all the pissing matches between people, they're different phones aimed at different users, why the hell does everyone feel the need to argue about it? Kent already said he doesn't want iOS so why bring them up?

  7. It's only Thursday. :dunno:

I don't know if I'll be available to check and see who's in until Saturday morning, hence why I was just checking. You both have my number though if you guys make a decision. As for the rain I didn't notice it jumped up to 40%, last I saw I thought it was for late afternoon. :dunno: Hopefully it holds out, I only have a few more weeks after this for riding..

  8. The route depends on how long people want to ride. We can do an easy 200 mile day or head further south for a 300+ mile day. I posted one last week but rain cancelled that ride but we can use that one if we want to do a longer ride. The route was 800s-26sw-537w-260s-7n-536n-78w-800n/26n-145ne-148e-9n-151w-212n. I can make any changes we see fit to shorten/lengthen the ride as well, that's just a basic one I was thinking of.

  9. There's plenty of us on super sports that ride 300+ mile days all the time. If you're on good roads you don't get uncomfortable or start to ache. Not to mention the metro parks are boring, especially compared to Southern OH roads. Tag along and I'm sure you won't regret it.
