  1. I'm looking to get a rear stand for my ninja 250 preferably in NE Ohio. I really only need them so I can clean the chain and do oil changes. I've seen the ones at harbor freight but have heard mixed reviews, mainly about them getting bent. And the only one I've seen on craigslist locally is a pitbull stand going for $100 firm. Let me know if you have one laying around. Thanks.
  2. First and only bike is my ninja 250. Definitely glad I started small since I made quite a few mistakes starting out that could've ended badly on a bigger bike. Still learning new stuff all the time and pushing a little more to see what all the bike has to offer.
  3. What're your goals? Build muscle, slim down, stay in shape, etc.? Never used one personally but I would say depending what you want to do there are probably better alternatives. From the looks of them it seems to be just mainly working out with bands which I don't think does much of anything. But I'm on mobile so hard to tell.
  4. I'd try Craigslist and see what kind of interest you get, and if you don't get much.scrap it and start over with something different. But if you really need to rid of it quick just scrap it, but I don't know how much they'd give you for it.
  5. I was in the area two years ago and as Kritz said traffic is heavy and you'd probably sit more than really ride when in town. Could head up to Marblehead and drive around the lake though. Decent drive and if you need a break you could stop at the lighthouse, great view of the lake and Kelleys Island.
  6. For me its helmet, armored jacket and pants, over ankle boots, gloves and stand alone back protector. I wear that every ride.
  7. I ride with the Knox Contour tour model and it's pretty nice. It offers more coverage than the Forcefield back protector and still keeps my back cool on hot days. For street use if you went with the Contour I'd go with the tour version since the race version would probably get uncomfortable if you're not always tucked. Haven't tried the race on on, but my tour version sticks down out about an inch out of my jacket and the race version is a few inches longer.
  8. Yeah. If you delete the picture from imageshack then it will be deleted from any website you post that picture on since it's no longer available.
  9. I would but I'm still new to riding and not familiar with where you're going, except parts of the valley and tallmadge and in between. Plus, my 250 wouldn't keep up.
  10. That's what made me think of it. Hopefully someone gets this one safely and we don't see a bike laid down in front of an ambulance. Ride safe!
  11. Next challenge: next to an ambulance
  12. Guess ill get on on this. The sign that says the HS name was behind the trees. Stow HS
  13. TI = Topsail Island. It's about 3 hours closer than the outer banks and more secluded. And last September when I was there we saw military planes fly over at least twice a day, it was pretty cool. Here's a pic from last year when we went down. This was taken from our second story balcony at the condo we stayed at. As you can see it wasn't too busy which made it nice.
  14. I'd say Hatteras or Topsail Island would be a good place to stay. A lot of the rentals on TI are secluded from town though with limited restaurants, so expect to drive a little ways the further north you are on the island. Other then that, both are pretty fun and if you aren't set on a date maybe go when schools are back in session, a lot less crowded then.
