Well, I was removing one of the main caps from the crank, because there is a oiling system bracket that needs to be removed. I need to use a different oil pan in my swap, and the bracket doesnt clear the new pan.
Basically the oil pickup moves from the rear of the engine to the front. Plan B was just to hacksaw the bracket off, to the point that it would be able to fit under the pan. But I think Ill go back to plan A, purchase OEM main bolts and borrow the tool from you
