I keep getting this pesky issue with one of my users. Outlook keeps prompting him for his password, but it acts like its not correct. From my side, we have reset the password in ADUC as well, just to confirm that it is correct.
Heres what else I have done:
Deleted/renamed this folder: C:users\%username%\appdata\roaming\msft\protect <-deleted this folder a few times, have also renamed the registry key inside
Started outlook in safe mode
Removed/readded computer to domain
Deleted .ost file
Removed any saved passwords in credential manager
The only thing that has been successful is completely uninstalling Office 2k7, rebooting and reinstalling it. Even this only works for a few days though, before the issue comes back again. Unsure what to do at this point.
