  1. Sorry to hear that MJ. I hope it works out for you and you make it down. If anyone sees a white BMW X6 pulling a Z1000 on a small trailer, wave as you go by I'm not sure what time I'm leaving...depends on how the weather is looking. It looks like scattered showers tomorrow and Sat should be nice.
  2. I won't be there this eve but I'm bringing stickers and a marker for name tags. That oughta sort things out
  3. Those frickin' people and their BMW's
  4. Sweet, thanks. I'll wait to get gas further south of here.
  5. Yeah, it's a frickin' monsoon here
  6. I'd like to thank you for spelling 'brakes' correctly for the context
  7. The NBC Knoxville weather forecase video is worth watching (hubba hubba) http://www.wbir.com/weather/default.aspx Sat should be a good day for riding!
  8. There's prolly more people headed down that could bring it if someone can fetch it from your house (or wherever you left it).
  9. I'm mostly packed but I'm not leaving until Friday AM...the way work has gone this week, it can't come soon enough.
  10. Says the guy complaining about the hillbilly accommodations.
  11. Great...so if I get lost I can't pull up GPS on my AT&T iPhone.
  12. My wife and I were shocked...she had trouble going to sleep afterwards
  13. I have the Latigo Air boots and they are pretty nice but a bit cheaply made. I've had the zipper pull (cloth piece) and the metal tab zipper pull each break off.
  14. A guy from work found a bike on their site, called about it and then drove all the way out there to find that they didn't even have the bike even though on the web/phone they said they did. He was pissed. He's a bodybuilder and pretty damn big...I'm glad I wasn't there to face his ire.
  15. That sucks. My wife suffered the same injury in a bike accident - they called it an open book pelvic fracture. I won't lie...it was a long, hard road to recovery including time in a wheelchair. I wish you and your girl all the best.
  16. Damn...lots of reports of mishaps this week. Makes me kinda glad I'm sick and playing shut in this weekend :/
  17. When i went for the epic ride, I took 71 to 35 down to Chillicothe, 159 to 180 which puts you in Logan. 180 is a pretty decent road for riding but the rest, meh. If you take only back roads, it's going to take you forever to get there and there really aren't many semi-direct roads that are curvy. You could take 350, to 729 which hooks up with 22 and then onto 35 and the rest as stated above.
  18. I'd buy one of those dishwashers
  19. I have a MotoTote that I haul my Husky around on. Love it...so much better than a trailer. Just yesterday I saw a pickup with one of those HF totes hauling a KTM 420EXC...seemed to be doing a nice job of it.
