  1. 166 Huh? Guess he must have seen the copper before he clocked him
  2. I can't remember the last scary movie I saw at the theater because my wife refuses to watch them for the same reason. I need a movie chick
  3. I didn't even know he be illin' (too soon?)
  4. Timing is bad for me but I've always wanted one. Nice bike GLWS
  5. Where's Paul Harvey? I want the rest of the story
  6. Oh shit, what the hell is wrong with people these days??? My son is at Ft Campbell in the 101st...I hope they catch those cowardly bastards responsible and dump them off onto one of the Army training fields for his fellow solidiers to mete out some justice.
  7. I got a white leather jacket for the cooler mornings this season. The front is not so white anymore
  8. It was scary if you thought it was real...which a lot of people did when it was released.
  9. I thought it looked good too. That usually means it's gonna suck
  10. A lot of good that did I can count 10+ texting on my ride home from work every day.
  11. Yessir I never said I did such things, or even want to. I just don't think there needs to be a law against it...especially one that's unenforceable. In fact, since people will still be doing it, they'll start trying to hide it and put themselves and others at even more risk. Good job guvment. Well said. Let me refine my formula, more laws = less freedom != increased public safety
  12. I'd love it if lanesplitting was legal. I'm thinking it would incent more people to commute on two wheels. I'd always be a little leary about someone intentionally squeezing lanes to prevent people from doing it. Especially those who didn't know it had been legalized (assuming it had been). A lot of people are self righteous and go out of their way to prevent people from doing things outside of what they consider to be right/legal. I always see people who do the speed limit in the fast lane simply to keep others from speeding.
  13. That is good service and not to shit on your good story but also keep in mind it's in their best interest to resolve it as quickly as possble to limit their liability. Companies are much more cooperative and helpful when they have skin in the game. Why didn't they call you and inform you of the activity and the hold on your account prior to you finding out by having your card declined which can be a bit embarrassing? I was in Miami recently and made a rather sizable purchase on my Amex. Within 15 minutes I got a phone call, text and email from Amex asking to verfy the validity of the purchase.
  14. This from a guy who states: You've invalidated your own argument and from what little time I've been here seems to be par for the course for you
  15. It turns out, the kid driving the truck goes to school with the lady I work with who originally told me about the accident. Her duaghter said he still showed up for school that day and was he was described as a "degnerate". I don't know the kid so I can't say but sad to hear the guy passed.
  16. That's the real crux of the issue. Enforcement will be paltry at best and it further burdens law enforcement. So now, in addition to ensuring you are obeying traffic laws, and not driving under the influence, and wearing your seatbelt, they have to see if you are playing with your phone. Meanwhile, the asshat next to them is "driving" while eating a burger and fries while smoking a cig (and then flicking the butt out the window for good measure ). All completely legal (except for the littering thing) and no less dangerous. More laws = less freedom.
  17. Riding home today, I got behind a guy who was talking on the phone AND looking through paperwork. I was like, who's steering??? I got around and past him real quick. Now, tell me more about these air horns???
  18. When I was looking to buy my Z last month, I noticed there eemed to be a lot of bikes for sale in that region as well. My son is at Ft Campbell now but he doesn't have a bike. A lot of restrictions on base for motorcycles.
  19. I always thought that to get a drivers license you should have to take the MSF class. They already have to take classes in some states. It would certainly raise awareness.
  20. Here is the news story. Apparently, "he was a helmet" http://www.wlwt.com/news/30992444/detail.html
  21. Sounded like an opportunity for a cheap dinner.
