  1. Ars Tecnica says different http://arstechnica.com/apple/2014/09/iphone-6-and-6-plus-in-deep-with-apples-thinnest-phones/3/
  2. iOS 8 or 8.1? Also, the 8.1 issues only seemed to affect the iP6 & 6+
  3. All networks have dump buttons...not sure why it wasn't pressed. That's probably why they are holding the station responsible because they didn't do their due diligence to prevent it from airing.
  4. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Again, there are less reports for devices that have fewer owners so they don't bubble up. In the end, all of them had a problem because of the way they were mistreated.
  5. Some people will pay about anything to dump weight. A friend paid some ungodly amount for a bicycle seat post just because it was a few ounces lighter and he's an amateur rider.
  6. Came across these today. For those that like to carry tools with them this will save some weight. http://thegadgetflow.com/portfolio/carbonlite-tools/
  7. Oh God, skinny pants cannot die soon enough.
  8. Yep, again, they are copying Samsung and others... http://www.cultofmac.com/297404/get-bent-shocking-history-bent-smartphones/ But of course, haters will jump all over it and make a bigger deal of it than it is because since there were so many of the phones sold, it will give the appearance of a large problem. You don't hear about the Samsung's etc because there are only 10 people that have them, Mine's not bent and I've had it in my pocket off and on for several days. Of course, I'm not stupid enough to sit down with it in my back pocket or even the front if I have snug pants on. It's a large, thin piece of aluminum. With enough force it's going to bend. Duh. Those that complain are the same that would bitch because a more sturdy design would be too heavy. This isn't a design problem, it's an ignorant people problem.
  9. Yeah, people don't think these things through...
  10. For the way most people use their phones, nope. I generally don't even care about benchmarks on phones but it was brought up so I posted it. It comes down to - does the phone meet your needs? The software/app aspect should be considered as well. There is no "best", only what's best for each individual.
  11. I'll just leave this here... http://www.anandtech.com/show/8559/iphone-6-and-iphone-6-plus-preliminary-results
  12. It's because there is a small but very visible % of sportbike riders that ride like assholes and piss people off. Cagers tend to lump all sportbike riders into one category so you are seeing the response. I will say that it's probably mitigated if you are in full gear as we know squids are always in t-shirts and flip flops.
  13. I also made a poor choice for a case...actually its nice but the sides are slippery so I'll prolly hunt for a new one.
  14. I know many of you don't care but I got my 64GB 6+ today. Really liking the large screen but it can be a bit unwieldy because I'm not used to it yet.
  15. No but I'd love to buy the house behind us and tear it down to build a big ass garage. Then there are lots of possibilities
  16. More importantly, did you figure out what caused the wheel to lock up? Incorrect assembly or overfilling of fluid can cause the fluid to expand when warm and activate the brake. I've seen this happen when people buy cheap levers and they partially actuate the brakes even when not pulled.
  17. LOL http://www.wlwt.com/news/driver-fleeing-from-police-cant-keep-pants-up/28103624
  18. Had these on my Z1000, they are awesome.
  19. Be careful, magnets can wreak havoc on electronics.
