  1. I was thinking that too However, most of these petty thieves are addicts and cowards and just looking for easy scores so likely they'll not do anything that might put their habit in jeopardy.
  2. I guess there are a lot of people like me with low standards out there... http://www.macrumors.com/2014/09/12/iphone-6-6-plus-sales-record/
  3. I pre-ordered my substandard iP6+...happy to make it to 2012 technology.
  4. Nah, I'm just fuckin' with ya bro I dunno, how many times has Apple sued Samsung for copying their shit and won?
  5. No, I don't do illegal things with my phone, thank you. I'm happy for you that your phone is so superior...I'm sorry about your penis.
  6. That speaks to more of your connection speed than the proficiency of the processor. If you were rendering video and playing a graphics intensive game and talking shit on OR, that would be impressive.
  7. Faster processor means < battery life. How fast do you need? My iP5 never stutters or indicated that it could benefit from more horsepower. How about the 64 bit processor? They were the first for that and all the haters could say is "so what?" I already addressed the screen resolution. It already exceeds a persons perception levels for pixel density. What other (useful) features do you want? 3D holograms? There comes a point to where the technology just isn't there yet to be adding stuff, especially without impacting other things like size, weight, battery life etc. What groundbreaking features have the other makers introduced that made them a must have? The only thing I thought Apple should've put out last time was NFC but frankly there are still limited applications and support for it but now that Apple has set up the payment thing, use will skyrocket. Android users would always tout that they have NFC and I'd ask, well what do you do with it? They'd say well sometimes I share photos or contacts with people (then there'd be me "wow", making a jerk-off motion). Look, I'm not saying Apple products are the best but I get tired of people putting them down for reasons they can't articulate. The arguments are feeble at best.
  8. You can mask your email when using that tool. i.e. MidgetT*@gmail.com
  9. I'm not quite sure what exactly the iP6 bashers are expecting that would make it something other than "it's the same as x phone". Yellow zoom zooms and purple go fasters? What are you hoping to see in a phone?
  10. Dayum dude, you go through bikes like I go through t-shirts. Good for you! Those are fun to play around on but I've never been a fan of the motor. Lots of torque but too slow for me. I bought one of the early models and sold it in three months.
  11. You're right. There are so many well documented medicinal uses that it really is a huge crying shame that people are being denied access to something that would increase their quality of life while highly mitigating the possibility of opiate addition/dependency which is part of what is driving the heroin epidemic. When my wife went through chemo, we looked at the legality of medicinal mj in OH but it's still just being reviewed by lawmakers. I firmly believe it really would've have helped her. She shied away from getting some illegally because if caught, should would've lost her licenses and business. It just wasn't worth the risk.
  12. Ben is right, it was a phishing related password compromise, not an iCloud hack as initially reported. Unfortunately, once it was reported that way, it has been perpetuated because people lost interest and quit reading the updates.
  13. Interesting...it seems like I heard recently that traffic accidents were up and there have been a large number of citations issued for driving impaired (from weed). I think there were some other negative impacts touted but I seem to recall they were minor. I wish they would just legalize it everywhere and rake in the tax $.
  14. These password leaks are getting ridiculous.
  15. There's a reason why they have a "closed" ecosystem...several actually. > Quality control > Security/Privacy control > Profits You take the good with the bad. I personally love the fact that I don't have to worry about malware, viruses or having to install software that hogs system resources to protect against them. I like the fact that my iPhone, iPad and Macbook Pro all stay in sync with contacts, photos, etc. It works for me and my family. To each his/her own.
  16. There comes a point where the human eye cannot discern any finer resolution (~300ppi). That point has been reached (surpassed even) so what's the point of going further except for bragging rights (a la Samsung)? If you're so happy with your device, why do you even care? I think people often put down anything other than what they own in order to feel better about their purchase. (Mags, this isn't necessarily directed to you and encompasses more than phones). I have no issues with the android phones...I was considering getting one depending on what I saw with the new iPhone. Some of the features on the Samsung phones are gimmicky IMO like the eye tracking and the motion/wave sensing. I know a ton of people with these phones (some very anti-Apple people) and they say they rarely to never use these features and they can be more of a pain than anything.
  17. Sad. Doubt we'll see any public outcry about this.
  18. That is pretty cool. The only problem is, you can't watch the video on your tv and anyone wanting to view it will need the right software to watch it.
