In my new house I've been burning wood. I think it's 1500 sq foot. I've had it up to 73 degrees on the coldest days. I love the wood heat, it's just a lot of work. I'm on my sixth truck load this year. Next year I will cut maybe 20 truck loads to get ahead. I would look for an older used one with no glass first.
