If say it will go the same as a Zuma. Both air cooled fuel injected 125's. Nothing inherently wrong with a CVT scooter transmission. 4 speed will require wide spacing. I had Aprilia RS50 with 6 speed manual and 6 speeds are much better than 4 on little engines. CVT's have far more than either.

I can't verify either as I only was behind you for brief moment on the gap, and maybe Cherohala as well. But I'm talking about from the gap store back to Fontana. Plenty of time to setup for those corners. The goal when moving is to move with the bike and not upset the chassis. Just takes practice to get in sync with the bike. Start slow and work on moving side to side. I recommend you move side to side even when riding at modest pace as practice. You have to get comfy moving around. Having said that, you have to also get comfy with lean angles, and hanging off reduces the lean angle. So you have to work on both, then combine them. Foot position and moving around keeps the blood flowing and the pressure off. You can do it....

Who's foot? Is that from a bike crash?

Sounds to me like you are pushing down to hard on your feet. And proper fitting boots don't allow your feet to slide forward or backwards. Sideways either. I chased you from the gap to Fontana (I was on the scooter) and I didn't see you move around hardly at all. I recommend that the balls of your feet are up on the pegs and move them down to shift or to use rear brake (if you are so Inclined) then back up on balls of feet. Proper foot position is the one where you can most easily lift your body up. I've never ridden a 675 but I doubt it is buzzy enough to cause numbness if you do as above. You don't need to press hard on the pegs. You may want to weight the outside peg if you are having trouble getting front end to turn under throttle but I wouldn't worry about this now.

So my teva sandals aren't good enough? But my feet get sunshine and air when I scoot across cherohala and the gap. Only way to not get hurt is to not crash. Improve your skills along with your gear.

I came up from behind that tiger on a tiger, and he was following that car, so I just eased on by as demonstration how to avoid having your fun stopped by some sedan and dual parallel yellow lines. Just scooted on by and kept on having fun. Disclaimer: This was closed course under supervision from professionals.

Seems you are early to get off the throttle and slow to pick it back up. Faster lap times will be had when you spend more time on the gas. Get your braking technique down and get back on the gas early and be smooth as possible. Chris

Also recommend sliding your ass back to the rear of the seat. I still forget this sometimes. But when I get it right it makes ass over, head pointing to the mirror body position easier. Knee down is okay for me, when I misjudge I hang off further, and if necessary tuck knee back up to bike and lean even more. Knee out is just a 'feeler' for lean angle. Knee close to bike with slider/puck on the ground is my absolute limit.

I want one but I would be shocked if it can run more than 60 mph. Supposedly has around 9 HP. My scooter supposedly has close to 14-15 HP and only runs 70 mph. Bike will be too heavy to race and only has 4 speed. 5-6 speed when made available will likely be $1k. Very cool bike but not gonna replace my scoot anytime soon. By his thing needs hard luggage and then I might.

Damn! Amazing that I get on there for everything but the Ducati. There were two other 1199's there that week. I wanted the trifecta of all 3 but I'm spoiled like that.

I like to clarify so people don't confuse beer or red bull. Love red bull the company, not the product. Monster works better for me. Thanks to the MT and Hutch.

I said 'sporty'

Big sporty twins get bad mileage. Super hawk, rc51 1199. All I've owned and all get in the 30's.

Hopefully we don't get into an arms race on who's scooter has more HP. Let's just keep it the way it is now. The Honda 150i is quieter and faster

The scooter and RS125 were better from what I have seen. Didn't ride the Ducati on Saturday at all. http://killboy.photoreflect.com/store/Orderpage.aspx?pi=04RK01WF062204&po=2204&pc=2981

Wasn't me, I don't pay for fancy plates. ScubaCinci maybe?

Great time. Made it home safely. Didn't meet my goal of passing a squid on a Gixxer on the 150 Scoot (with luggage compartment). But met my other goals. Glad to meet some old faces and some new. Never got rained on while riding. Glad I choose the simple route on Friday. I agree with Pauly, the scooters are a blast. FYI, Honda 150 faster than Zuma 125 with Pipe). Chris

If you don't go the weather will be perfect. If you go, it will suck. I'm going! Loaded up. Can't wait to hang with my OR buds. Chris

Wheelers has good tire prices and he will mount/balance on the spot down there. Call him ahead of time.

Dry county. Liquor store is 45 minutes each way. Bring your own.

Ohio Mini Roadracing League (OMRL) races this weekend!

Great weather, agreed. Track was good all day. Great racing and I only crashed once this weekend. -
The locals run the Gap at night. Easier to see oncoming traffic (which is hardly any).
