My scooter will be rocking the dragon again before the season closes out. Still need to satisfy the urge to pass a GSXR.

I ain't rushing out to trade down for less power and more weight. Maybe less heat would be nice.

I'm pretty sure I have a 2005 clean sv in my garage for $3K. Stock except slip on pipe. Runs perfect.
-
Nice and sore still damn two way traffic. Was feeling good at trail riding until that. I still have to work on the slow stuff and falling over but once moving I found it to be a lot of fun.

Everyone should know that 2/3 of all deaths are caused by car turning left. Or damn close to that percentage. Be especially vigilant at intersections.

I will be in Circleville racing on the 14th. Can we meet up then?
-
Still want it. Too far away so far. Distance not price.

As far as testing. I've already stated that I don't think we should test people. Just a select few. But the only way to get rid of bullshit laws is for those of influence to feel the pain that the law causes. At a minimum we should drug test the politician involved in making laws.

So much full of shit in this argument. Pot is no more of a gateway than alcohol or tobacco. 750,000 Americans get arrested annually fucking up their lives for a natural drug with no overdose deaths ever recorded. Prescription drugs are abused and kill thousands per year. Alcohol and tobacco kill tens of thousands. I'll chance more people smoking pot and hopefully less drinking. Net positive. Every civilization since the beginning of time has done drugs. Why do we think we can imprison out way out if that. Here's some insight. We can't. As far as the kid argument, regulated drugs are harde to obtain than weed. Ask your preteen and teenagers which is easier to get.
-
That's why I said all or none. And agreed about the testing has proven to cost more than the savings negating any benefit.

Weed should be legal. Politicians and all government employees should be tested or no one should be with the exception of a few highly specialized jobs like commercial pilots.

2003 was the last year of the 7.3 and I think they phased out mid year. Expect sloppy steering. Most people would choose the 7.3. I wouldn't worry a out it sitting for long periods. Mileage is super low. You see these with 10-15 times more mileage. I've been looking for a SRW 7.3L 250/350 4x4.

To be fair we have tried hard to stay out of this mess. But most western democracies aren't going to stand by and watch chemical weapon attacks. I feel bad for those involved and at least now if America gets involved we won't be alone. Unlike Iraq and to some extent Afghanistan. Economy and NSA aside. This is a real issue to a lot of people. If it were up to me, I say one large series of bombs on all the government offices taking out the regime and most associated persons. The government will collapse. Chaise will ensue and hopefully when the dust settles its a better place. Let Russia fix it.

Rolls front end are a little bit cool. Not sure the caddy grill on the Dakota ever will be.

I run 28 front and 30 rear in the street and chew through tires. Lower pressure = more flex = hotter tire. I run lower than most would recommend. I usually recommend 30F/32R for most tires no passenger. Good advice about warm cold or hot above. Also, buy new tires!

Super moto class is for any size and any type motor as long as it started out as motocross or enduro frame bike. It would take some skill to race a 250 two stroke but it would be fun as hell.
-
This is why I will be looking for a used one as soon as someone tires of the novelty. Good training bike and for quick trips around town.

UPS store is expensive. They aren't cash cows though and everyone birches about he cost of shipping a box. Wanna save money, use your own box and packaging materials. Then take the the post office This is what I do because they feel like a ripoff. But ups has some steeply discounted rates to large business customers. I shipped a box that was almost 2.5' cubed and weighed more than 50 lbs from Ohio to Michigan for $15 at one of my clients. I couldn't believe it was so cheap. Ups store would have been closer to a hundred I'm sure.

You were treated fairly and it was an honest mistake. They lost money sending an employee to ship it and come back. Definitely let this go. Edit: $29 is a small price to pay to fix your mistake.

I ride a scooter with shorts and sandals. That had to count for something.

Last year I skipped the hill climb and just parties at LRC. Hopefully a lot of OR peeps come party with us this year.
-
Hill climb is fun and local bar/restaurant (little river cafe) has restrooms and live band. They also fence off their property to keep the cops out for more fun inside. Huge biker turnout and a lot of Harley's but still good redneck fun.

Pegs do suck on the pani. I swapped them at the dealer recently for $100. Now much better. Sure it sucks that the stock ones are so slippery. Also the seat does suck. But my issue was the slickness. I swapped to the comfort seat and it is much better. Only a couple hundred bucks. Should have had a better seat stock but for upgrade, not to shabby. Sure the bike is loud. I like it and saves me from buying $3K exhaust mostly for sound as 5-7 HP probably not gonna make a lot of difference. Mine is hot as hell. They do have a kit they will install for free. I have the kit but choose not to install. Probably will put on the exhaust cover but not the cylinder cover as it hides the sweet look magnesium heads. My bike literally burnt my leg through leathers on the 2 hour ride home from the dealer last year. The trick is to keep your leg out as soon as you start your ride. Don't let the heat saturate your gear. Suspension is on the firm side but super stable at lean and I love it. Comes with a 2 year warranty standard. Mine had a starter failure just a few weeks after purchase. Many had this from what I understand. Mine also, like many others had wiring harness issue causing the right turn signal to fail when hot. Did I mention it gets hot? But fixed under warranty. My dealer has gone above and beyond. Usually dealing with issues as soon as I arrive there. They do extras for no charge, like rear brake fluid change once for me. Another was swapping clutch fluid due to clutch not working great. Parts installed free. Always cleaning the bike when serviced. Try to find that at the local Honda dealer. They always charged me for install and rarely was the bike cleaned. Ducati isn't perfect but they seem to care more, or make me feel like they do. I have a base model with abs. Best brakes I have ever ridden by far. Traction control is seamless and works perfectly. Overall it is overkill for the street. I have more fun on my RS125 two stroke for the twisties. And the scooter for around town. Oh, and I love it. Can't wait to track it. First Ducati purchase and don't regret it.
