GF and I gave up soda a month ago. Just got tried of 'needing' it. I really love Coca-Cola and agreed to have one per week. Iv'e been drinking so much of that stuff since I was a kid (remember 3 liter bottles). So far we have stuck with it. First few days sucks, feeling bad. Study after study shows links to poor health and soda (diet or regular). The calories really add up and drinking soda doesn't make you eat less, so I would consume 400-800 calories more per day just due to soda. I already drank a lot of water, now I just drink more. My issue is that I don't like many other drinks. Going to lunch is weird drinking water. I'm going to lose 10-15 lbs. Biggie

I just talked to XM to get one of my cars renewed. Current best price I could get was $25 for 6 months ($29.xx after fees/taxes). They also had one year for $8x.xx. I also realized that they DON'T refund credits that are on your account. I was a little suprised about this part. Biggie

I personally have stopped using XM most of the time and stream Pandora and Spotify from my phone. Unlimited fast forwards on spotify for $10/mo is worth it IMO. Pandora is $3/mo to release yourself from the commercials. On XM I also listened to 57 Nashville Country Station (has commercials). Biggie

Most small retailers pay much closer to 2-4% than $.03 per transaction. I'd be interested to know who pays $.03 per. I take CC's and hate paying the 3% but I believe it is smart to make it easy for customers to pay you. I don't get many CC transactions overall. Biggie

2013 Federal Estate tax law allow each parent to give up to 5.25 million without taxation. They can do this even while they are alive, but each dollar given reduces the future total amount. Not sure about OH law, but your parents could give you the land without fed taxes. Biggie

World is setup for the rich. High ticket prices are hard to stomach, but if they can sell them, then they will price them accordingly. I have never been to an OSU game and don't really plan to. Everything desirable with limited availability goes up in price. Basic supply and demand. Biggie

As much as I don't like quads (vs dirt bikes), I still say keep it if you enjoy it and aren't pressed to sell (space/money). Much harder to obtain another one if you decide you want to ride again. Biggie

Sorry that is happening to you. Some advice that might make you angry is to try hard(er) to prevent this from happening. Many of us have been in situations where it gets painful when money doesn't come in on time due to money going out committments. But is far better, cheaper and much less stressful to be able to pay your monthly bills from last months earnings. Meaning pay all your bills at one time every month and it helps avoid temporary disruptions. In additon, time to look for another job or start your own thing.

Most people that start on bikes that are too fast never learn to be fast riders. I make my kids start on the 50 then the 125 or 250. Biggie.

I don't know shit, but I would recommend sell, sell, sell. UP is pretty smart fellow. If you had 10+ houses, I would feel different. Costs are reduced per house for all the trouble. Sell the house and payoff all or a portion of your current house.

Slow drivers are okay. Asshole drivers trying to police others are on my shit list. Some people aren't as good as others. I think we should increase the difficulty of the drivers test by using video game type simulators with multiple scenarios in order to pass the test. I also agree that Germany seems to do it right. Harder tests and people get over. Another peeve is those who want everyone to merge early when a lane ends. Everyone should drive up to the merge point and like a zipper, every other car should go seamlessly into the single lane. Biggie

Perpetual income. Don't plan to have a fixed sum of money to deplete. Way to easy to deplete it too fast or outlive it. Think of ways that you can make money or have money make money for you when you get too old to work. Rental income, easy to run business, etc. Biggie

Whatever road that was in the picture, it was fun but too narrow to really ride hard. My chance of crashing would have been much higher if I was at full pace when I saw that Y and the bridge. Biggie
