I live by St. Anne's in cbus and we have had a lot of break-ins lately in my apartment complex. Our complex manager decided to put a notice on our doors about it. I do have several guns, several 4 inch + blade knives, batons, OC, & baseball bats strategically placed around my apartment. The issue is, these fuck wad's are breaking in during the day when no one is home. I do have renter's insurance & a safe that I keep my valuables in. But I don't want to deal with potentially filing a claim w my insurance company and having my insurance go up. Who all has security systems in their home, and what do u like/dislike about them? I'm considering getting one.

I'm a LEO, as long as they are soild - not strobing, flashin, blinking etc - no ones going to mess with you. I'm talking about auxiliary or accent lights tho. If your using blue halo's around ur beams - I guess as long as they aren't the primary source for lighting the roadway and don blind anybody - I wouldnt see an issue with it. Then again there is a lot of gray area in the law. I did take a quick look @ my ORC and cant find jack about it being against the law as long as they aren't strobing, flashing, or blinking.

Ive got a funny one. There's an app u can get on android phones called prank dialer. It's free but u have to listen to a 30 second add and it limits ur call to 120 seconds or so. U can call another # & make it so that on their persons caller ID screen any # shows up. So I called my 1 supervisor at work with the other supervisors # @ 2am - and they both work @ 6am. He answered and I started making this noise like I was jacking off into the phone, then hung up. The next day at work they were bother arguing "man u called me last night and hung up on me, sounded like u were masturbating or fucking ur gf or somehting" the other dude deny's it obviously. So he shows him his cell - proving it was his # calling him. The other would say that maybe he butt dialed him or something? lol I did this about once every month for almost 2 years straight - I'd be dying inside laughing my ass off the next day at work when they both argued haha.

GTi's are slow and over-priced MS3 FTW! MS3's started in 2007. 1st gen is 07-09 and 2nd gen is 10-13 (not sure yet about 2014). I've owned both and currently own a 2011 w 14k miles. Handling - A Mazdaspeed 3 is only FWD not AWD. The vehicle won't handle like the STI's or Evo's, but IMO for a FWD car the MS3 handles very very well. Acceleration - Stock for stock STI/EVO's are about 1 second faster 0-60 than the MS3 - which will do 0-60 in about 5.7-5.9 seconds. HP for an MS3 is about 270-280 I believe. EVO/STI- about 300? Price - A loaded MS3 new will cost u about 26k (roughly) which is considerably less than the EVO/STI. I got mine for about 21k and it was a year and a half old with 8k miles. Fit & finish - the quality of the materials inside and out are top notch. The interiors of the STI/EVO - are dollar tree special. Gas mileage - I can get about 30 hwy & 18-20 city (if I stay out of it) The EVO/STI - cant even touch it. I believe they best about 25 hwy and 15 city. I firmly believe most of the $$ for those cars does NOT go into the interior of the vehicle. Aftermarket - Is the big winner for the MS3 - there's so much u can do & it wont affect the warranty of ur vehicle or the durability. The tranny can handle upward's of 500+ WHP (wheel horsepower) and the rod's can handle upto about 400 WHP before u run into any issues & have to spend $$ to swap them out for forged. From what I'm told both EVO/STI's do have issues on anything more than 50+ WHP stock. If u bought an MS3 and put the money into it that u saved over buying an EVO/STI it would pretty much stomp those cars in any aspect. Sure u can mod an EVO/STI as well of course. U can undoubtedly make and EVO/STI faster than an MS3 but it would cost u 3x as much. If ur looking for the best all rounder car - go for the MS3 - u wont regret it and ur wallet will be more happy. BTW - One of the top car forums for MS3 is www.mazdaspeedforums.org - u dont have 2 be a member to take a look around - it's a very valuable website. In the end it's all what u want in a car man and what u want it to do. I am slightly intoxicated right now so hopefully all this makes sense to you. if u have any questions lemme know.
