  1. Actually I don't want something similar to the husbands ride. He bought me a Honda Shadow few years ago but since I didn't learn it within a couple months he sold it out w/o telling me till after it sold. Lost interest on riding with him teaching me on the Triumph, I recall heading up into someone's yard on first lesson, I got scared and he panicked, I was done and he was done. I figured that wasn't the right time to learn, all the safety courses were booked for the season. In other words the Speed Triple is too much for me, Anden you've bragged its faster than your brothers bike, and his is pretty strong. Range will probably be around $2K, if I still got time to save up some checks with him wanting to switch job this year. Idk....
  2. Now that's a pretty cool tool! Thanks!
  3. Um, ya! this is in the other zombie post..... lol
  4. LOL... you want a picture with the yard stick? okay.. ya that's a nws pic! freakishly long legs
  5. I sat on your Triumph, scared the shit out of me! 900 is not for me, or maybe it was the way you were trying to teach me to ride, reguardless you made me get off and I need to go finish pissing myself after that incident!
  6. My first live show was Troy's local band Tunnel hahahaa.... I'm kidding! I'm not that lame! First live show was the 95 Lollapalooza tour: Sonic Youth, Hole, Beck, Cypress Hill, Pavement, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, I want to say Coolio was there as well as the many other side tent bands. Lesson I learned... do not wear flip flops if you intend on getting in the pit! Looking back, I don't see how one even formed with a line up like that! HA!
  7. Way too fast!!! Reminds me of when someone tried killing me doing 110 on a gravel road on the way up to Indian Lake, he claimed he wasn't going that fast and that he was maybe doing 80...bullshit! It's not that far off LOL
  8. That's to control the helmut hair when I used to ride with the husband. Busa, aren't those super fast?
  9. haha, I am 5'11" last time I checked legs are at 36"...now I feel like a complete freakazoid The Rebel must have been more roomier than the other. Maybe it's got to do with the style... I have lot of sitting and checking to do. Many of the riders from work suggest in the line of a 500+ for my height. Some have said too that the cruisers usually fall where a sportsbike don't.
  10. Just to ride locally, as in within 150 miles from home, I have three kids so I wouldn't be out for those 7-14 hour trips that my husband manages to take. I would obviously use for work as well when it's nice out, bank some money on mileage
  11. Wtf is wrong with people? Copy cat crime or just fucking nuts? http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/harford/bs-md-ha-dismemberment-follow-20120531,0,4066697.story
  12. I'm taking the rider course in August, need ideas on a bike for when I'm finished. Open for all suggestions! I sat on the Cbr 250, I didn't like, I felt like I was on a midget bike, no offense to those who have one, I felt like I was too tall/long legged for it. Sat on the Rebel 250 and it seemed fine, although not sure if Id want to stick with a cruiser. Not looking for speed. I rather have my speeding fix in a pony car. Also, what is really the difference in riding a Cruiser vs. Sportbike?
  13. Ya.... That was a slip up, it happens often LOL
  14. Bath salts is just what the government wants us to believe... Now if the survivor starts biting people...... We know shit just got real
  15. Thanks everyone... Planned on taking my own, I'm picky about what touches my head anyways lol
  16. Oh some places have them still, you just got to ask. Valero aka MotoMart in Troy was busted. That gas station on 25A between Piqua/Troy, Starfire I think? They were busted. From what I heard, you ask the clerk a couple of times then the clerk gives in and gets them. I could be wrong but I sure as hell ain't going to try to buy em! LOL When I first heard of them I was totally thinking Bath and Body Works had some drug shit going on with them... Joys of living in a hole with kids!
  17. Not sure what I just read but that was seriously some funny ass shit! We got some Five O on here or what?
  18. Niagra Falls is good for a weekend trip, we took the kids up there last year over labor day weekend. Stopped at mansfield reformatory on the way, I think that they loved that more than the falls. On the way back we smuggled some grapes in PA, they loved the whole don't get caught part Chicago looks like there would be plenty to do at the navy pier and not to hateful on the wallet from what my friends have said.
  19. Those damn Mayans have fed some brains with crazy!
