  1. Here's some pictures to tide you over while the videos are being edited. Unfortunately I was having problems with the GoPro so if you don't see yourself in here, I'm sorry. We'll start with one of the hottest rides at the meet spot:
  2. Did you meet with us at the McDonalds in Buckeye Lake one time for a ride? Maybe 5-6 bikes, you kept popping little power-wheelies.
  3. More like Grammar Priest. He's only trying to save a hopeless mess of words from becoming incoherent babble. Not quite the same as holding a gun to the guys head and shouting in German for not using a semi-colon correctly.
  4. Looks like he's going to get a kickback from McDicks too: http://mashable.com/2013/05/07/mcdonalds-cleveland-hero/
  5. Check out the reviews here: http://www.holeshot.com/old/barsnake/reviews.html Basically a solid rubber tube that you grease up and stick in the handlebar hole. I don't know if that would really dampen vibration as much as buckshot or some rubber bushings where the bars mount, but I have no idea how those things work. Let me know if you're interested in some bar snake oil; I've got a spare jug of turn signal lube too...
  6. I've thankfully never hit anything, but I did glean this little bit of info from biker lore: 'If you can eat it in one sitting, run it over.'
  7. Apart from the riders down, it was a beautiful day to ride and I enjoyed meeting new Ohio Riders. Big thanks to the Fast group and Will and the Medium group for helping out my brother when he went wide and ate it. We limped it home all right. I'm hoping someone caught video of the act, if you did, please post it up. He's fine, a little friction rash on his elbow, the jacket and bike took most of the damage. I was walking around with the DSLR and GoPro, so I'll start a new Epic Ride Media thread in a day or so for everyone to dump stuff in one place.
  8. Sucks to hear about the mudslide, glad you're okay. If you're looking for bars, this could be a good get: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=63242.0
  9. I'm in for a few fun hours. Where are you thinking of meeting?
  10. It was pretty cold last year and threatening rain. Ended up being a good ride regardless. I think the sun was out too.
  11. Go ahead and plop me down on the list. I'll have the DSLR and GoPro's running, so everyone dress real pretty.
  12. I was hoping it might get lodged in her brain and protect it from more stupid ideas.
  13. I have to finish going over the video, I don't remember anything too unpredictable from 337. What you're saying is it wasn't intended to be on the route at all? So the map should read like this: http://goo.gl/maps/hLvNE
  14. We rode this section of 555 today and I got a clip of it. It's a little tighter turn than those before/after it; hard to predict the apex. Pretty sure I saw gravel there. http://youtu.be/VGMxkiZFE38 No telling what happened to you, but glad you're okay and ready to keep riding.
  15. I've got 3h 14m of footage start to stop, but we flaked on the last 40 or so miles of the ride. I would call it 4h at least. Definitely 5 with grouping up, pictures, pre-ride talks. The blind turn near the cemetary you were concerned about, is a non-issue because it's not part of the ride route. I've added it in here as stop 'G' for visual reference: Google Maps
  16. Made it home okay. It was a nice medium paced ride, our eyes keen for gravel/sand/roadkill/good ol' boys in trucks. I'll fab up a ride report and give video of the turns to make it easier for the leads/sweeps. Thanks Jackflash and FIJI for riding around today.
  17. Anyone else from Columbus/Westerville coming on this ride? We're riding down to the meet spot as a group you're welcome to join. I'm thinking meet at Iron Pony around 9:50, take off by 10.
  18. Jack, I might tag along. What time are you thinking of leaving?
  19. Put me down for an XL please.
  20. I was tooling around on 664 a little bit north of the meet spot, roads weren't that good at all. A lot of dirt and sediment still hiding in the corners, a few orange barrels and metal plates.
  21. Happy birthday! We'll all have to catch up before a ride sometime.
