  1. I have the 3S also and think it's great... mostly bc it doesn't let you pair it with everyone bc I hate talking to people; I'd rather karaoke in my helmet when I'm riding instead.
  2. C'mon... it's buy... sheesh... Figure out where/how you want to ride and then research bikes accordingly... are you planning on doing all day rides? Make sure you pick something you'll be comfortable on for a long ride (#1 reason why I sold my R6... long legs + more than a 2 hour ride = awful). Look for bikes suited for your intentions. There's good advice here, having taken the courses for riding gets you itching to get a bike & get out there riding, but spend some time reading and searching all things moto-related to find a bike that suits you, as well as good gear that will protect you. But hey, what do I know, I'm not a dude... lol
  3. Thanks Dan. I've never been camping on my bike so it's definitely going to be an adventure. Just under 3 weeks until we leave, I'm going thru MI & Canada to NY for the weekend. I can't wait!
  4. Got my passport in the mail today - now I can stop worrying about it... Can't wait for this trip - now on to finishing my packing list, and checking it twice.
  5. As much as I despise getting up early - I'll be there... at least I won't have to comb my hair. I need a long ride to get ready for my NY moto-camping trip via MI & Canada, on June 1st.
  6. I called the Passport Helpline earlier and was told I can still expedite the passport but I'm worried about timing. Is it better to call who you suggested instead?
  7. Stupid woman at the post office - should have never listened to her when I submitted my passport application... "people have been getting them in 2-3 weeks" she says, "you don't need to pay to expedite your application" Well it's been nearly 3 weeks and nothing... and I'm supposed to travel in 3 weeks... WTF, thanks USPS, bunch a jerks. UGHHHHH... okay, I'm done.
  8. No problem - I wasn't sure how bad the fairings damage is and didn't know if that included the sprocket cover. The previous owner of my R6r cut my sprocket cover - maybe to replace the sprocket since the back wasn't stock either... who knows?!? Good luck with your search for plastics - I've helped friends install them and it doesn't always go smoothly if they aren't OEM.
  9. That's weird - the pics in the ad are from an R6r, not an R6s... I have a front sprocket cover from an '06 R6r in my garage, I didn't put it on the bike before I sold it. It's brand new and should fit your '08 - if you need one, let me know...
  10. I'm interested (in the second one pictured), but also fear that a men's small might not fit my super long go-go-gadget arms... where are you located?
  11. Golden girls??? It's 9:30... Old people go to bed at like 7.... ?
  12. Yep, I'll be there for all the weird gayness with pork & sausage and greased/lubed buns... It won't be the same without her, and yeah, it would be cool to see her at the epic ride for sure! I have my fingers crossed that the weather will be decent so I can ride.
  13. Actually, I have a black shirt w black text/graphic... It's from a pretty well known moto-vlogger... ? But hey, what do I know, I don't have balls. ?
  14. I guess I'm a candyass then... meh, whatever, you guys can have your balls shirt
  15. Yeah, I'd like to know the answer to this too...
  16. I'd give him 10 bucks if those shelves came with the bike/parts... "Only 1 thing needs fixed on the bike"????? ????
  17. Nice car!! So will you be out saving whales & rhinos?? ? Seems pretty thought out & optioned for a small hybrid. Does yours have the wireless charger like in the video? I'm thinking about adding a wireless charger to my GTI.
  18. Ah, excellent point... I'm not backpacking him on the group rides... lol
  19. Right? Seems like he's gonna need to do laundry or cook or something...
  20. Wouldn't know, I've never used one...
  21. You would bc you have trouble doing the math to determine the difference in height... lol
  22. I dated a shorter man, and wouldn'thave hesitated to marry him, so it's not that I'm opposed to shorter guys. I prefer taller men bc I like high heel shoes, it's awkward when you're 6'4" in heels and your guy is only 5'9"...
  23. Thanks Tim, I take back some of the mean math things I've said... Lol Psh, another motorcycle... I'm thinking about going to the IOMTT in the next year or two, hell probably by myself, who knows...
