Here we go.... I personally like the Springfield Armory line of pistols. XD is the simplest form, XDm is the match grade barrels and lighter triggers. XDs is their slim line specifically made for conceal carry I have an XD9 which is great gun for a target shooting. The generally cost around 450-600 depending on the length if barrel and whether its a Bitone, or straight black. I also have the XDs .45 which is a beast of a shooter. Definitely not for someone who is new to guns.

If you head up to champaign county St Rt 245 from West Liberty to Marysville has some decent turns. Some high speeders with a few S curves thrown in but nothing really to write home about. That whole area has some nice back roads that are fairly clean. Mostly farmers and old folds out there.

Looking around the PC3 would work for all the 650's from 09-11. only the 5 works for the 12-13 model years. Lowest I can find them are for around 300. Thats too much for my blood. The Two Brothers Juice Box uses the same software as the PC5 does, holds as many maps as well. plus I can get it for 200.

Im not sure there would be a real need for carts to go change out targets thought. Would depend on what kind of targets hes got set up. if hes got a few steel targets all you need then is a spoting scope to check it.
