  1. If you have a weapon in the car, you are required by law to notify, if you dont then you are not required to notify.
  2. You say hes being a dick, he would say hes defending his rights, like it or not, his rights were violated because he wasnt breaking the law.
  3. perfect example of Dayton Police justice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXX6dcS-QbQ i give dayton area cops credit though, Dayton is rated in the very high top 10 of worst cities in the US for violent crimes.
  4. Riverside officers. Dayton Officers have their moments, but had he been black, he wouldve been arrested for something fabricated
  5. He could have come right out and told him that he was responding to a MWAG call and simply asked the guy if he was open carrying, the common response would have been that yes he was. That should have been enough for them. Specially if thats all the call was. If it was a MWAG waving it around and shouting threats at customers, well then that would've been a different type of call and would have warranted further investigation.
  6. Try to limit your resume to 1 page front and back or 2 pages front. These guys dont give 2 shits about the experience we have a guy who used to be a truck driver for 20 years that just up and quit and got a job doing this. oh and lets hope your driving record is in tact
  7. yes but obviously he isnt up on firearms law and how it coincides with civil rights law. Since Buckeye Firearms is to be considered the resident expert for Ohio gun laws, i figure he might need some help
  8. I think if you havent done so by now, you need to get in contact with Buckeye Firearms and ask for them to direct you to some legal counsel who can educate you.
  9. Then if he is suspect of committing a crime as defined by the law then he would be detained and therefore under investigation. However the argument must show that he wasn't stopped simply because he was open carrying a weapon. That has been tried many times and its been ruled many times that simply Open carry of a weapon isnt enough to justify the stop. The biggest point though, if he is carrying a weapon while on probation, then hes breaking the law, and as defined he is a criminal. I seriously doubt that someone on probation would be carrying a weapon openly.
  10. mike check your pms before you send that resume i have a different set of emails you need to send it too
  11. Its a European reference because my company is from Greece
  12. A CV (curriculum vitae) is different from a cover letter in that a cover letter is more concise and a CV is fairly detailed. While a CV includes detailed information about a person's educational background and work experience, a cover letter is a more concise document expressing interest in the job being applied to. your CV is going to be your resume. when applying with the coverletter, be sure to put your interest is "Customer Service Technician Ohio"
  13. And some of the skills gained in the field IS internet networking. youll learn how to build an inhouse network with routers, modems, networking cables, youll learn to install flat screen televisions on walls with wall mounts, youll also learn how to run RG6 coaxial, and CAT Ecable according to state code. Youll be trusted to complete maintenance without supervision, but youll have access to a large base of coworkers who are very knowledgeable. Training week takes how ever long the manager and your trainer feels you need it. TRUST is a huge thing here, youll be working with million dollar retailers and be trusted with thousands of dollars at a time without supervision. If there is even a doubt of theft youll be looked at by the retailer because thats just how it is. Youll learn to cover your ass and how to watch your ass cause we go into some of the shittiest fucking neighborhoods in the cities.
  14. And dont ask me for a reference, i dont give anyone a reference. Ive been burned to many times
  15. Yeah they dont list their job openings through the website, and Im not saying that they are for sure hiring, just get yourself a solid resume made up. Dont worry about experience, if they made that a requirement, then 30 of the 50 guys we currently have wouldn't have a job. Make sure your resume looks good, and do not lie, if you are called for an interview then things are looking up. if you are called back for interview 2, then you have the job assuming your back ground check with BCI&I is clear, and you can pass a piss test.
  16. I am a Customer service repair tech subcontracted to the Ohio Lottery. Everything we learn is taught or can be taught on the job.
  17. +rep to this finally someone gets it
  18. +rep that Check out these guys, they are the company I work for, we work all over the state, company car/van, tools, fuel card, cell phone (dont get excited its a cheap one) starting wage is 15.00/hr in ohio. Youll get at least 40 a week. Schedules start at either 7am-330pm, 9am-530pm, or 1230-pm-9pm. no supervisor standing over your shoulder (you got GPS in the vans for that)
  19. I got paid to get shot at enough already, I like not having a target on my ass with a big calling sign that says POLICE.
  20. What is your degree in? Are you willing to relocate to other states? What about other regions throughout Ohio?
  21. Asking simple questions no, asking who someone is for simple reasons when there is no point or reason to, then Im sorry I wont be answering unless I am being detained under investigation. I personally know the LEO in my area where I OC, they know me, and they know that I am not a threat, the local Sheriff doesnt know me but they see my gun on my hip they give me a nod/wave and I keep walking, why? Because my Sheriff is a Second amendment advocate and makes sure his officers know the laws. Not so much OC rights as those are already been identified by ORC 9.68 which reaffirms the second amendment. Its fighting for the civil rights that law enforcement seem to try to skirt by to attempt to do their jobs. Even a simple violation is a violation.
  22. Sure if they have probably cause to do so. If they are making general chit chat then there is no reason to ask for someones ID if they aren't the subject of an investigation, if they are suspect of an investigation, then they are being detained then the rules change completely
  23. again neither reason is enough to fulfill the requirement of the law that the police is supposed to uphold. To agree to allow something like this to happen is the same as a cop coming on to your property while you are open carrying to identify you on your own property because a neighbor called in saying someone had a gun
