News had a video of it last night. Looks like the truck went over a small jump/drop off and didnt land quite straight. He went off the left side and rolled it into the crowd. They said the driver was Brett Michels if I heard correctly. Both him and his copilot/navigator had to flee because they were getting stoned by spectators. They said 8 dead 17 injured.

Is there a night where the track is prepped with pimp juice and the clocks are still on? My car seems to hook way better once the track is prepped for Grudge Wars but, the clocks are always off by then.

and what is sad is all those kids with with a Honda at like sawmill home depot that bring there like 1-5 year olds out and then go racing with there kid and girlfriend in the car there all ways seems to be at least 2 17 year old girls with there kids out at sawmill at like 2am what happened to parenting?

 

It seems to me that the ones with the kids and the pregnant baby momma drama that were ripping around the parking lot the one night were driving a bmw a chrysler and a chevy truck. There is more to the white trash causing problems then the import drivers.

Ah. Yeah i remember him getting the cutout installed. I dont know wasnt tryin to start any probs or anything just tryna figure out what happened. Oh yeah, that also sounds like him borrowing gas money to make it home lol. Another thing, do you know if he still had his subs in the car when he raced you? Cause hes got a HEAVYYY ass box with 2 12's that weigh about 30lbs each.

The b-series motor (Type R is B18C5) uses 3 serp belts. One for the Alt. One for the A/C. One for the PS. That motor has been in use since the late 80's. I guess they just never updated.

I cut the power steering belt off cause it was half shredded. We were waiting in line to race and I got out to see a friend run and I heard SMACK SMACK SMACK. I killed the car and opened the hood. 2 ribs had broke and were slapping the PS line and hood. So I cut it and raced him. I was winning last time we were at the track so he added the cut out. Now he is barely beating me. If I take some shit out of the car or do a little more tuning I bet I got him beat. The beauty of it (at least to me) is that I can pretty much keep up with him nd he is borrowing money to get home cause he is out of gas.

I won't be making it out the 14th I am outta town. I can't wait to try the new mounts out though. On the street they seem good. It was cheap as hell to. If anyone ever needs a cheap way to do "solid" mounts look up window weld mounts. I am sure the trick is as old as I am but it is always new to someone.

I just like it when you here the stories of how a off duty officer or someone else was carrying in a mall etc where you are not suppossed to carry and they take out someone who started shooting the place up... Seems like everyone looks the other way when the person breaking the law ends up saving many lives...

 

 

I would say if you are going to drink at all seperate the ammo from the gun and lock the gun and ammo in a spot in your car where you can not get to both of them

 

Off duty officers can carry almost anywhere. I believe the few limitations are courts, airports, stuff like that. My brother is an officer and unless he is drinking or getting on a plane you can count that he has at least one on him.

Yes that was my car. I had a terrible time getting gears. I was told it was bad syncros. I am thinking it was motor mounts allowing to much swing in the motor/trans assembly. I swapped out the front mount and front torque mount and its like a whole new tranny. Even the rattling from my short shifter is gone. I have to install the rear mount and still looking for the other 2 mounts. I am hopefully going to work on it all day tomorrow.

I have 3" pipe that goes into a 3" Dynomax muffler. The annoying part is the constant ricer drone as I daily drive the car. I want my cake and eat it too.
