  1. I have a Password JDM Dry Carbon Fiber Intake for the DC 94-01 Type R, LS or RS platform. It is only a couple months old. I have the original box and everything. Asking $150 obo

    I have an Apexi AFC NEO. It is also only a few months old. I have the original manuals but no box. The connectors have been used. When I removed it from my car, I cut every wire on the car side so the NEO has a full length harness. The plastic has not even been removed from the screen yet. The silver paint on the word Apexi is slightly blemished. I also have electronic copies of the wiring to install this on a Ridgeline (only available directly from Apexi, this is not in the installation book) Asking $250 obo

    I have a brand new never used/hooked up Odyssey Dry Cell Battery. Part number PC 680.

    * 595 cranking amps for 10 seconds

    * 525 cranking amps for 20 seconds

    * Short circuit current over 1800A

    * 17Ah

    * 25 minute reserve capacity with 25amp load

    * CCA - 220 (Is this important?)

    * Female brass terminal w/M6 SS bolt

    General use engine start, no metal jacket, low temperature applications.

    The PC680 measures 7 1/16" in length, 3" wide, and

    6 9/16" tall.

    The PC680 weighs less than 15 pounds.

    Asking $100 obo

  2. I am all the way out in Marysville however, I have a pressure tester and a block checker. If no one else is able to help you let me know. The block checker I have is a fluid that you basically use to sample the air/steam coming out of the cooling system and see if there are any hydrocarbons in it. (Blown headgasket) I also have a leak down tester.
  3. This is a gray area for me. I don't think he necessarily did "the wrong thing", but once she agreed to sign the ticket, he could've probably let her be on her way, and avoided the whole "tasing the old lady" mess.

    Even though she was being a bitch he could have chosen to let her sign it when she said she would and just let her remarks go in one ear and out the other...

    That's the problem. He told her to sign it, she refused. He then told her if she did not sign it that she would have to go to jail. She then asked to be taken to jail. At this point she fully understands the consequences of her actions. She is trying to call his bluff. When she realizes he is not bluffing she agrees to sign the ticket. By that time it is to late. The Officer did everything correctly in my book. He stated a request, stated the consequences of not complying and most importantly he followed through with the results as chosen by the perpetrator.

  4. the front end/steering wheel vibration is warped front rotors like everyone said. If you're feeling it in the pedal as well the rears are warped as well

    Actually, any of the rotors being warped (parallelism out of spec) is the cause of a pulsating pedal. The steering wheel shake is caused by the rotors warping so that both sides curve in and out at the same spot (kinda like a pringles potato chip). The other option for the steering wheel is steering or suspension parts being loose.

  5. yea the wiper is gone i guess the previous owner said he had to because the other wiper would stop working and basically fuck up and start hitting eachother... my solution was to take them off all together and use rain x. the hood is like that because the radiator hits without it being like that i think its kinda gaybut i have no choice because the radiator still barely hits as is

    The radiator hits so it causes the hood to bow in the center along the sides? I would expect that to be caused by using a universal strut tower bar that doesn't clear the hood

  6. It was quite amusing as I was watching this earlier this afternoon and a couple of guys from the Church of Later Day Saints (or W/E their name tags said) knocked on my door and I had to yell at my dog Loki to stop barking. I do not think I will be seeing them for awhile.
  7. So since I am planning on 8 psi of boost (supposedly what the kit is rated at however it mentions 9 in the instructions) I would expect to see 51.5 psi at peak on a rising rate regulator? I am not planning on using a rising rate regulator (Is it required?) Would this mean that the adjustable regulator should be set to 51.5 and then the computer would use less duty cycle at lower boost to limit the fuel?
  8. I just wanted to thank Brandon and the rest of the guys at IPS. They went out of their way to get me a kit they don't normally sell at an AMAZING price. I shopped around for weeks and found a price that was unbelievable on the internet. I could not find anything about the company and was a little worried about sending this amount of money away. I called Brandon and he matched the price. He then kept in great contact with me about shipping and the delay on the factory end.

    Thanks again for the A++ customer service and pricing. :thumbup:

  9. When I went to tech school I seem to remember a discussion about the max recommended fuel pressure to apply to an injector. Above that pressure you run a risk of overpowering the spring that closes it and the computer loses control of the injector. Does anyone know where I can find this information? I am running Precision Turbo and Engine 440cc injectors. I called them and the only advice they would give me is to use a rising rate regulator (1:1) and set my pressure for 43.5psi. They said the regulator would handle the rest. I am not using a rising rate. I would like to use these injectors, an AEM adjustable regulator (20psi-max pump output), a Walbro 255lph pump (I believe 80psi max) and Hondata. Currently it has been suggested to use 550cc injectors. I would like to know what these can put out at max flow and compare that to 550's. Also, Precision recommends a 90% duty cycle, everywhere else seems to be 80%. Any reason not to plan 90% if that is what they suggest?

    Thank You

  10. I would file a complaint with the BBB and there is also a company called Angie's List that you can join. Both of them use mediators and are often checked by people before hiring a company. If he resolves the issue it will be noted and make his company look good. If he does not it will make him look bad. At that point you are not hurting his business, he is making the decision him self. If that goes no where then, I would take it to court. Tell them you simply want the job done right and you want the driveway fixed. It is not anything you are not owed.
  11. They tell you that there are no "quotas" and in the same breath say you can be written up for not having x amount of tickets written per month. It may not be a "quota" but isn't in the same thing?

    I am sure street racing is a big problem @ 8am on a Tuesday. I sure see plenty of cops on my way to work and back every day...I have yet to see any street racing. Ever. Bet they will get some DUI's then too, right?

    Wrong...it is simply the easiest time to MAKE MONEY. People in a rush to work, or rushing home. Rushing = speeding a bit = money in the bank. End of story. Notice they always scan people in the easiest places to get a speeder, and not usually the places where it is most dangerous to speed? It isn't crime prevention, it is all about making some scratch.

    Like people in a rush to work shaving, drinking coffee, talking on the phone, etc etc etc not paying attention to what they are doing. Combine speed with inattention and next thing you know someone cuts someone off causing them to over correct flip there car and kill 2 people leaving 2 kids without parents. (as recently occurred on I-71) I don't like speed traps/cops running radar but, they are a necessary evil.
