  1. Have a good ride Derek, if you change your mind...you can always join us on Sunday.
  2. Sorry to hear this Jim...get back to full strength soon! Typically meet up in Bolivar or Millersburg and hit 83/93 to 78, 377, 550, 26, 260, 800, etc. We usually throw 556 in the mix as well. This ride will be something similar, but I imagine a little later start due to a cool morning - so we will not hit all of these most likely. Police?
  3. I know that this is a little early, but throwing the feelers out...as the weather forecast (flame on) looks now, Sunday might be prime for a good SEO ride to scout out the roads and just get back on two wheels!!! Will update with details on meet up place and time as it gets closer. Dave G.
  4. Sorry, scratch that...here is the correct link... http://www.fanschoice.tv/component/contushdvideoshare/player/ama-pro/74th-annual-daytona-200774 Ignore the message: "Please login to watch this video", just hit the Home button and find under Recent Videos.

  6. Thanks for the ride report and description of road conditions...this is my "local ride" area, but have not ventured down there yet this season. DPG.
  7. Yes...they are a great race bike platform.
  8. I could be down with this....if you play some Clutch!

This article on Nick Ienatsch: http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2011/Dec/111215yamchampschol.htm Reminded me of his great philosophy on street riding...good read for the younger riders out there... http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/pace enjoy...DPG.
  10. And only rode it to church, right Jerry? I have seen this old bald guy ride....very good and fast rider!!

Exactly what I was thinking...the instruction and follow thru will be beneficial.

Hey Tim, good to see that you will be heading down to Mid Ohio this year! To be honest, not in a hurry to get bumped...it will be good to get some instruction and time to learn the track. If I stay in Novice all day, I will be cool with that.

Yeah Jim, gotta take the plunge this year...maybe we can coordinate our days, but I will definitely be starting in Novice - new to me motorcycle, never rode Mid-Ohio track, and first Track Day in 11 years = Novice! DPG.

Great! Bought 2 days...the discount code worked. Probably do 2 days at Nelsons also. DPG.

So if I pick up a couple of Gift Certificates, can I use them for any dates that I wish? Also, can I decide a few days out on which dates I choose? To assure decent weather conditions. DPG.

I will be there this year...picked up a GSX-R600 just for the purpose of Track Days. Too much talking about it...need to commit and do a few this season, 11 years off the track is too long! DPG.
  17. Great ride! Always awesome to ride with you guys, sorry to see the riding season winding down. DPG.
  18. Yeah, last ride was a pretty cold start....this one will be a lot more tolerable getting to the meet spot. See you in Millersburg. DPG.
  19. I lived in Orange for awhile and loved it. SoCal is great for a motorcyclist, awesome roads, ability to ride all year around, and lane splitting eliminates traffic concerns. I love Ohio, but honestly, I would probably still be there if my wife didn't hate her job in Anaheim and really miss her family in Akron.
  20. Yes...of course this video has examples of some extreme wobbles and near highsides, but essentially, this is what your incident looked like.
