  1. No specific route planned....we usually just play it by ear and decide when we get to the meet spot. Usually hit the good SEO roads though.
  2. theroamr and I are meeting at Bolivar DQ at 8:30 for 9am departure...you are welcome to ride with us if you want. Dave G.
  3. Sam, I have this tank bag....http://www.busahq.co.za/p/132751/tank-bag--oxford I used it a lot with my SV, but it doesn't fit so well on my Z (due to the odd shape of the tank), it sounds like it checks most of your boxes. If you are interested, shoot me a PM with an offer and maybe we can work out a deal. Dave G.

Definitely a great ride Jim. I ended up with a lowly 435 miles. Looking forward to the next one.

Obviously that didn't work...anyway, I have a route that I will be doing that will put me close to 450 miles starting from Canton. DPG.

Maybe the NEO guys can meet in Millersburg and a possible second meet spot in Coshocton or New Concord?

    Neo 8/4 Ride

Ryan...Brian (roamr) and I are getting out for a ride tomorrow, you are welcome to join us. Meeting at the Bolivar DQ at 8:30 - 8:45 for a 9am departure. DPG.
  10. Escape from the Prison Planet...another Clutch fan I presume?
  11. I don't mind no longer having it. I guess that I am just the nostalgic type.
  12. This is mine...CB360T, wish I still had it!
  13. This is why I like riding with Tony...the riding is very efficient, able to hit all the good roads and still be home at a reasonable hour. Our last ride on 5/5 was a good example of this. DPG.
  14. This is true...but it must serve some purpose, these WSBK racers do it prior to lining up to the start of the race, see 4:32 - 4:33 minutes in. Is it a kind of final shakedown? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yV6_j_xaYMY
  15. I wish I could have made this trip...Nivin tried to recruit me, but I couldn't get the time off work. Next time!!! Dave G.
  16. Great news for you Will, but bad news for us - I will miss being able to ride with you in the future. You are a solid rider and an even better person, good luck in your new venture! Dave G.
  17. Likewise...we need to get out on more rides.
  18. Big Kudos to the group I lead out today! All really good riders. Thanks Nivin for putting this together. Dave G. (Green Z1000)
  19. If there was a road designed for an R6 (or any other sport bike for that matter), this is it! I used to live in AZ and made the trip to ride this road as often as possible...I had a GSX-R at the time. DPG.
  20. Sorry about my lack of posting, it has been a crazy week here in Cincinnati for work (wasn't sure I was even going to make it home for the weekend). I have been in contact with Nivin about this - didn't want to make any promises via the OR Forum unless I was definite. I will be there for the ride...if we have some volunteers for leading (i.e., whaler) they are more than welcome to take my spot, I have never laid rubber on these roads before (usually keep my riding east of 77). I am still willing to lead if needed of course. Dave G.
  21. Nivin, we all have days that we are just "not feeling it", don't let that rattle your confidence. I have rode with you on days that you are tearing it up! You are a great rider. Keep posting rides way in advanced, I can't believe how nice the day turned out. Great to meet new people and always great to ride with friends again. Can't wait until we are able to do the 300+ mile rides and head a little more south. Until next ride... Dave G.
  22. I'm still in...you should show up Tony, it's been too long. DPG.
  23. Thanks for coming out Craig...it was good to meet you.
