Mini 20 from Putnam Park
-
For my 09 ZX6R I use 3rd from Turn 1 to Turn 5 (2nd gear) and back down to 2nd at the carousel. I was finding rev limiter before getting to turn 3 in 2nd gear. I gave up some drive out of Turn 4 but made my life a lot easier with less shifting while leaned over.

600/1k sbk race 2....anyone know what happened at 10:36? I was closing up on the two riders in front and all of a sudden they went off track at the bus stop. I saw something fly on the track and you can kind of see it in the video. Lost a peg or something???
Matt (Blue R6) had a frame slider/motor mount bolt snap. The puck hit his leg which he thought was another bike touching him. He stood it up and went off track. Second bike just followed.

Great weekend! Still almost 5 seconds of my previous consistent pace, but had fun battling with Craig, Matt, and Ryan. Got some great video from the 600 sprints and the Mini 20.

I will be number 3 for first time riding for the season. Racing Sunday

My mistake - the 2015 schedule. I read this thread weeks ago and either disregarded or failed to note the 2015. http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=315068&highlight=Putnam
If it was an April Fool's joke, Sean played along.
Definitely a April Fool's joke. Sean said something about not coming back to Putnam unless something was changed about the Turn 10 wall.

Did they or are they transitioning to new ownership?
Putnam is not on the WERA schedule. Where did you see this?
-
Putty is something to look forward to. No surface conditions here.

Glad I am staying close to home this year after hearing all the bad reports about the track

I use a 2x4 and a 1x1 spindle cut at an angle to break my beads. I use the frame on my truck as leverage. Save your money unless you are really going adventure riding.
-
I am going to try and hit Mid-O once this year. Hopefully see some familiar faces.
-
Todd's bike had it worse than yours.
+10000.

Nice ride. You don't need to show at putnam, one less person to beat me. lol
Thanks. You will beat me even if I show up to race.

Out of curiosity, when it went bad did it just fail to cut the ignition for shifts or did it fail completely and stop the bike from running?
It was just cutting ignition and bike ran fine except for me feeling like I was riding a bucking bronco. For example, it started by randomly (I lived with for one round) then progressed to about every .5 second kills. It is super fast to disconnect since you can leave the upper wire loom that attaches to the coils attached and just use the supplied blanking plug.

Thank mgossel! I'm leaning toward the Annitori right now, even with the $30 higher price point. I have yet to read a negative review of their quickshifter or any of the HM quickshifters.
I am a little worried that a quickshifter will screw up how I've grown accustom to shifting, but it will be another learning curve like GP shifting.
I had the Annitori one this year. It went bad after 2 rounds. I loved it and they are replacing it free of charge. They old me I was only the 3rd failure in the newest revision of the processor design.

This is actually why I was curious. The SV I'm looking at has a 2005 ZX6 shock on it, and I was wondering why this one wouldn't also work.
Yeah my buddy has a 09 SV and my 09 zx shock fit perfectly. So I assume it will fit all the way down to 05 but I don't want to confirm that and someone buy it and it doesn't fit.
-
It will fit an SV because a buddy bought my stock shock to use.
-
If it fits the 07-08 it will fit the 03-04 also. May just have to adjust the length. For the price it should sell quick.
I heard on the kawiforums that 05-12 shocks are interchangeable, but the model years have slightly different shock lengths.
-
Definitely fits 09-12 zx6r but may fit 05+ but the length may be slightly different.
-
I am selling my Elka shock from my 09 ZX6R. I am thinking of going another direction for next year. It is the 4-way adjustable shock purchased new in the spring (2013). Sprung for a rider between 155-175, but will work for a greater range in weight. I have 5-6 race weekends on it. That is it. I would like to get $450 and your stock rear shock. I can send/post pics at a later date.

I hate all of you. I need a winter trip since I missed 1/3 of this season. Jennings is a haul for what it is. I enjoyed it but would be hard pressed to do that 12 hour drive again.

Killer deal on helmet and shield combo. Wish I would have saw this before I ordered my new Bell. This is the exact model that I had to replace after my crash.
N2 trackdays at BeaveRun PIRC 5/24 - 5/25

I was running 1:01s and 1:02s during the only fully dry race we had at PIRC the first time MotoSeries went there last year. We all know what happened to me the 2nd Round at PIRC last year. I was running -1/+2 or -1/+1 can't remember.
I know I was 3rd into Turn 1. Down to 2nd into Turn 5. Short shift to 3rd turning into Turn 7. 6th on the back straight. Back to 2nd into the carousel. 6th on the front straight.
