  1. What gearing were you running? Plus I know you were running quicker than I was by quite a bit. I think with the 1 down front, stock rear I will be able to run 2nd with no problems.

I was running 1:01s and 1:02s during the only fully dry race we had at PIRC the first time MotoSeries went there last year.   We all know what happened to me the 2nd Round at PIRC last year.  I was running -1/+2 or -1/+1 can't remember.

I know I was 3rd into Turn 1.  Down to 2nd into Turn 5.  Short shift to 3rd turning into Turn 7.  6th on the back straight.  Back to 2nd into the carousel.  6th on the front straight.

  2. 600/1k sbk race 2....anyone know what happened at 10:36?  I was closing up on the two riders in front and all of a sudden they went off track at the bus stop.  I saw something fly on the track and you can kind of see it in the video.  Lost a peg or something???

Matt (Blue R6) had a frame slider/motor mount bolt snap.  The puck hit his leg which he thought was another bike touching him.  He stood it up and went off track.  Second bike just followed.

  3. For anyone going, don't forget about our starving photographer, preorder at the track is the best discount you can get.

Marty is awesome.  I need to buy a CD for once instead of getting individual pics since it is more expensive the way I have been doing it.

  4. I hate all this talk of racing.  I will only be at the Putnam round if I am able to get in some practice earlier in the year.  With all the money I am saving on my racing budget I picked up a new steed. Even if I don't race at Putnam I will be up on this thing.

  5. Out of curiosity, when it went bad did it just fail to cut the ignition for shifts or did it fail completely and stop the bike from running?

It was just cutting ignition and bike ran fine except for me feeling like I was riding a bucking bronco.  For example,  it started by randomly (I lived with for one round) then progressed to about every .5 second kills.  It is super fast to disconnect since you can leave the upper wire loom that attaches to the coils attached and just use the supplied blanking plug.

  6. Thank mgossel!  I'm leaning toward the Annitori right now, even with the $30 higher price point.  I have yet to read a negative review of their quickshifter or any of the HM quickshifters.

I am a little worried that a quickshifter will screw up how I've grown accustom to shifting, but it will be another learning curve like GP shifting.

I had the Annitori one this year.  It went bad after 2 rounds.  I loved it and they are replacing it free of charge.  They old me I was only the 3rd failure in the newest revision of the processor design.

  7. This is actually why I was curious. The SV I'm looking at has a 2005 ZX6 shock on it, and I was wondering why this one wouldn't also work.

Yeah my buddy has a 09 SV and my 09 zx shock fit perfectly.  So I assume it will fit all the way down to 05 but I don't want to confirm that and someone buy it and it doesn't fit.

  8. If it fits the 07-08 it will fit the 03-04 also. May just have to adjust the length. For the price it should sell quick.

I heard on the kawiforums that 05-12 shocks are interchangeable, but the model years have slightly different shock lengths.

  9. I am selling my Elka shock from my 09 ZX6R.  I am thinking of going another direction for next year.  It is the 4-way adjustable shock purchased new in the spring (2013).  Sprung for a rider between 155-175, but will work for a greater range in weight.  I have 5-6 race weekends on it.  That is it.  I would like to get $450 and your stock rear shock.  I can send/post pics at a later date.
