  8. They learn young http://youtu.be/Dx7_jJ5QIVY
  9. Any HD Riders out there? Out of the 8,297 members on this board I can say for sure there are at least 3 of us. I feel like General Custer at the little bighorn:lol:
  10. So you are in your mid 50s think back when you were in your 20s how many of the people that you road with back then still ride my guess is not many. I was referring to the riders that are in their 20s things happen in life Marriage home kids and almost always the first thing to go is the bike. I managed to hold on to my 77 KZ 1000 all these years but mostly ride the Harley now. Of the 17 friends I use to ride with back then only 3 of us still ride 1 rides a Harley 1 a Gold Wing Iam wondering what brand of bike is the first pick for riders that are getting back in to riding after 30 years of being out of it. Iam just having a little fun here stirring the pot.
  11. The other 50% will be a different brand I’m just saying time has a way of changing minds
  12. Come on you can do better than that. Any bike will do that if a wheel weight comes off. But I understand You guys just can’t help yourself can you LOL I’ve been riding a long time so let me stir the pot here and make a prediction. 20 to 25 years from now 60 to 65% of the sport bike members on this forum will no longer be riding for any number of reasons of the members that still ride I would bet more than 50% of you will own a Harley. I hope I’m still around to say it but just in case I TOLD YOU SO
  13. No different than driving in the left lane and not moving over when someone comes up behind them. Driving schools do not teach drivers etiquette anymore. That and some asshats just dont care. I followed a woman in to work Monday she was the most skilled driver I’ve ever seen she was talking on her phone and putting on eye makeup at the same time while doing 70 down 480 she did not put her hands on the wheel for over 5 miles dam I wish I had that kind of skill.

    Omg

And what were you searching for when you found that. LOL
  15. With the new riding season coming just wandering how many of you tap your helmet / head to let other oncoming riders know there is trouble ahead. I have used it and have been given it
  16. Use a 3 piece patch with MC on it and your home town on the bottom rocker for the true 1% look. I guarantee you will have a lot more fun LOL
  17. Try prescription riding glasses with Transitions lenses there are some decent looking ones you can get check with your eye doctor they will not change color in a car or if you use a face shield that is UV protected you can check out Wal-Mart Eye they have about 10 different styles to get and idea how they fit and look
  18. Thanks Guys I will look in to them. I haven’t use Trojans in over 30 years the wife hated when I did burnouts LOL
  19. I own both types of bikes so I hear it from both sides but 99.99 % of the time it’s all in fun. And you’re right it is just beating a dead horse To set the record straight I do not own anything leather that has Harley on it only because it a waste of money. I do have a few Harley shirts they were all bought for me as gifts. I have never been on a poker run I just do not trust other bikers around me that I have not ridden with in small groups to many weekend warriors ride in them and the most important thing is I never Drink and Ride thats just nature’s way of weeding out the stupid. If I do have a taste for a beer I drink something like O’Douls .
