  1. Uncle puck, which one were you? The cbr or the falco?
  2. Haha yea man, only living like a half hour from the lake it dropped like a another 20 degrees.. Lets say my hands were all over my engine like they are with my wife.. Hahahaa
  3. I don't know how it didn't bother nivin as much as it did me. (I was the bike at the time with the camera) I had to stop shortly after to get my nerves under control. If one thing had been different it would have been a disaster. Just shows no matter how careful you are danger is still there. Ride on, never in.
  4. Needless to say that ride was amazing.. I like riding with experienced guys, makes it a lot more fun. Thanks for the ride guys.. And nivin, I'd like to see the video when you done with it!
  5. Good to see people that also ride bicycles.. I used to be hard into bmx, but when my knees are trashed its hard anymore.. Used to go to section 8 and a place in green, but I can't remember the name.. Akron has a free out door skate park but its all concrete, but its got a good lay out.
  6. I'll definitely be there, baby sitter confirmed this morning.. I'm going to try and get there a little early so I can get some food. But I'm coming! Don't leave without me trying to catch your bikes!
  7. im rolling from an hour and a half away.. but if im going to make a last group ride, im going to do it right!
  8. ok, sounds about right, now where in ohio can i run a track? not now but come warm weather again..
  9. so here i the thing, over the last couple of years, ive gotten used to my zx6r, and within the last year i have been thinking about upgrading to a zx10r, but i do have a family, and i dont want to hurt myself (that being said i know my life is held by my own twist of the trottle, not the bike itself). i dont stunt but i love speed and corners.. i am 5'8" 150 soaking wet, and im not sure a liter bike would be a good idea.. i was thinking of just getting a newer zx6r thats fuel injected, with a little more power, and testing the ropes with that.. just looking for advice..
  10. waiting to see if i can get a baby sitter for my twins.. if i can id be down to ride.. where about do you think you guys will meet?
  11. the scanner you checked for codes with, does it all show live data? such as coolant temp, maf, etc? there are 3 basic things that make a engine run - compression, spark, and fuel. there are multiple things that can spawn off each one of those, but judging by the flame shot out of the exhaust it sounds like your engine is getting flooded, whether it be poor spark or too much fuel. your coolant sensor plays a large part in fuel. lets say the lowest is can read is -44 degrees, and its stuck or shorted, or even an air pocket in the coolant, your computer will see that and just load those cylinders with fuel. if you have a crank sensor starting to go bad, then its incorrectly reading rpms, then it may lack spark as to where your cam sensor does most of the work controlling the fuel. so there are a lot of things that could be causing this, i think you need to get a scanner that can read live data, and start ruling out the basics. EDIT:: how far is your ride? does your bike stay in a heated garage or does it get as cold as the outside? if your rides only 5 minutes from your house, it could be condensation easily.. your bikes cold as a mother and your ride only produces the engine temp up to 120 lets say, and then it says for a couple hours while your doing what your doing, that could easily cause condensation in the crank case, cylinders, and the tank. and +1 for another rider thats not afraid of the cold.
  12. my pants are camping now...
  13. dude that spots going to kill sofa king bad.. ive got 14 tats and one goes from my right shoulder and just barely touches my chest.. i honestly was ready to beat the hell out of him just because of the pain..
  14. i honestly cant even say ive personally seen a bike with a gear indicator.. do you have a manual for your bike? if not im sure you can find one all over the net.
  15. +1 the only time im not riding is when the conditions are truly not safe at all.. think about it.. lets say you park it half way through december, and being in ohio you get the random day in january when its 60 outside.. a good 20-30 mile ride is all you need.. youll have more then plenty of randomly good days through the winter to ride if you cant do the 30 degree temps..
  16. haha sorry man, im a wrench at a lincoln dealership, i HATE doing trans work.. not that id bend a pump shaft back if it were bent, so i just hate seeing other people have to trans work.. but it sounds like your making pretty good progress.. if you dont have a good memory id label (like someone already said) or take pictures of things before you tear it down.. can only help..
  17. welcome man.. those hand guards do any good keeping your hands slightly warm in the cold weather? this 25 degree weather is killing my hands no matter what gloves i wear!
  18. whats the cost on that thing?
  19. alright, yesterday at work i got really bored and ended up painting my rims black.. i think it made a huge difference and makes it look super sexy! before and after photos attached
  20. how bad is it bent? i cant really tell by the pictures..i would, in my opinion, may try to bend it back if its only slightly bent?
  21. dust the steering wheel for prints? the cars sitting right there...
  22. im down for a ride all the time.. i dont stop riding until the first real snow.. i think im already pushing it with the cold and low tire traction it causes..
  23. i like them all! RHill i like the red on black better, looks more aggressive.. you pull the motor to paint the frame? YSR_racer - those bars work any good for fast cornering?
